Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Happy birthday Marines, don't think anyone will find someone who respect you guys as much as me. I found this poem and wanted to share it with the Marines on this site. Soldiers may die but Marines live forever.
Though the body is battered
and broken
and no longer fit for the fray
The spirit cries out
and is willing
and again will carry the day
Semper Fi is a code
and a motto
but some know its deeper side
that lives in the heart
of the soldier
who is this nation's pride
for it's the heart that
is always faithful
that is ever so willing
to die
For the Cause
and the Nation
and Freedom
it has always been
Semper Fi
When liberty's honor
is threatened
and the straits
are desperately dire
the Corps will come
to the forefront
to offer her men
for the pyre
that burns on the
altar of freedom
and must not ever
die
Though we often
forget these heroes
they never forget
their cry:
"For the Cause
and the Nation
and Freedom
there will always be
Semper Fi
Semper Fi to all the Marines who served or are still serving.
I didn't enjoy my time too much but I made some of the best friends I will ever have in my life during my time. I met my best friend during my time and not a day goes by that we don't at least talk through text. And we got out 6 years ago.
Most people don't fully understand the bond military members, especially Marines, make while serving and living together every day for years.
