Hey, thanks everyone! I had a very nice day. Took my boy trick or treating, went to his parade at school, and went out for a nice dinner.
But today was also special to me for another reason. Well, two really! 1st, check out the brand new signature! Vulcan came thru on a request of mine in the Graphics forum, and it's awesome! Not only that, my biggest wish came thru.
Other people are joining in! I gotta admit I am proud to see others sporting the same thing. I finally found some way to really contribute something to this place. Something visible that I hope will last long after I am gone.
2nd., and honestly FAR more importantly. My daughter came to dinner with some news. Appearantly there is this award at school that she won! She was just told about it by a teacher, but as she tells it, each teacher nominates two students/seniors for this award, and from that list, they choose only ONE student from the school to receive this award.
According to this teacher, SHE won! It's called;
The National Association of Secondary School Principal's Leadership Award
I cant tell you all how proud I am of her!
I gotta go look this up, see if I can find out more about it. I think this is it;
