We're definitely going to lose if soon if Ty doesn't come back, and Chandler.

Gallo is getting back into the swing offensively and had a nice game there tonight, but holy crap he is completely worthless on defense.
both will be back for the spurs game according to twitter

Without Wilson Chandler, Gallo doesn't worry about it because no one else will steal minutes away from him. He usually at least tries to play better defense when Chandler is healthy because he knows Karl will put him on the bench quick because Chandler is a way better defender. But Gallo has slow feet, so he's never going to be a great defender. If he could get better on the boards, he'd be a terrific stretch 4.

Seriously. he never boxes out and just stands there when a shot goes up. He also stops pursuing whenever he runs into a pick or switches slow and then gives up. AHHHHH.

It's confusing because Karl wants to do a lot of switching on defense. And while Gallo certainly has the length that Karl likes, he's just so slow on the defensive end and it makes it so much harder for everyone else. I've had high hopes for him when we acquired him, but he's been a big disappointment. I've seen very little improvement from him so far. Honestly I feel like he may be traded next year at the trade deadline.

he's fine imo... he gets lazy at times but he's made some big shots for us... including this game.

He's just so inconsistent shooting the ball. If he could become more consistent at least on the offensive end, I'd like him a lot more despite his defense. When we traded for him, a lot of Knicks fans were mad they gave him up because they thought he would be a superstar so I figured that this year would be his breakout year. But he hasn't really improved since we got him, he's been relatively stagnant and every time he starts to flash his potential as a great offensive player he gets hurt and he's back to what he's always been.

Edit: Granted he's only played about 120 games with us, which comes out to a season and a half. In my eyes, next year is a make or break year for him. Chandler has been balling when he's healthy.
