Giants @ Rockies. Games: Who cares?

De La Rosa is an absolute beast this year. I'm assuming this is his career year. Which could net him a big payday or unfortunately be the rumor of trade talks.

I can't remember did Ubaldo set the franchise record at 18 or 19 wins? Well within reach of De La Rosa if he can win out. And I would much rather he held the franchise record than Ubaldo.

I haven't done the math yet but if he wins out can he be the first 20 win Rockies pitcher?

Not sure on that one.

But I know he stated he wants to stay here and it's likely the team and him take his option.

But he definitely should be re-signed or extended. But who knows with the clowns who run our team.

It looked like Fowler was going to reach 20 for sure and I was surprised and happy, but the whole team (minus Cuddyer) inevitably took their second half dump. Fowler's only got 3 triples this year, nobody could have predicted that.

Their their training program must be worthless. I hate this whole organization minus a few players. We need to clean house of just about everyone minus a couple coaches/managers, some of the younger guys like Arenado, Rosario, Rutledge, keep De La Rosa, Chacin, Cuddy, Chatwood, Brothers, Lemahieu and Fowler. At this point I'm all for seeing Tulo and Cargo get traded for some good young players. They're both injury prone and don't seem to care much. Now would be the time to get good trade value before they start inevitably declining. This system isn't working.

They'll probably do none of that and end up signing Randy Johnson as a free agent though.

If I was them I would be pretty disappointed with some of the managerial decisions too. Especially if I was De La Rosa or Chacin.

And no I wouldn't blame. The injuries is what worries me more about Tulo and Cargo.
