  • Need MPJ and Brown to show up like that again tomorrow night and close this thing out now. I’m not crazy about a winner take all game 7 against KD even at home.

Brown has really impressed me since we started resting the starters towards the end of the regular season and gave him a lot more responsibility. Like most, he may have the odd bad game but his overall consistency in this span has been very good - on both sides of the ball.

        • Jamal Murray is sick, sounds like Deandre Ayton is doubtful to play. Ayton being out should mean Biyombo gets some time unless the suns want to have KD at the 5. I expect Jokic to come out aggressive and try to set the tone especially if Murray isn’t 100%. I expect to see at least 15 free throws from Jokic tonight, with about 7 no calls as well. Bully Landale and put Biyombo in a blender.

If we can weather the storm early, the Suns will self destruct. They’ve been chippy and chirpy all series, which tells me they’re frustrated, we just have to play physical, drive to the basket and draw fouls and create kick out opportunities. Don’t settle for tough 2s and attack the boards aggressively. Don’t let Landale set the tone with his energy.

            • 3 fouls on their 2 centers so far this quarter, have to stay aggressive and keep them in foul trouble

              • Man if they can play like this for every game after this one, that’d be something special. This is probably the best this team has ever looked

                • They look good but still a long way to go. Third quarter is typically their worst. If they can win a half by 30 they can lose a half by 30. Hoping they can come out and increase the lead in the third or at least keep it around 25 heading to the fourth.

                  • There goes the complacency. I think Malone was a little late with that timeout, defensive energy was clearly down from the jump. Hopefully they come out of this timeout refocused

                    • Did what we needed to do that quarter. Kept the lead to 27.

                      • Hell yeah!! Hell of a killer close out game. Much needed rest and we may find out tomorrow who we get next.

                        • Dominant performance. Outstanding defense. Booker was non existent, Bruce Brown was a dawg, Joker did MVP things.

It doesn’t really bother me that he didn’t win 3 MVPs in a row. It’s just an individual award and we want the ultimate team award. However you watch these playoffs and it’s still mind boggling it wasn’t him though. And how in the world can someone like Mark Jackson not even pit him on his ballet? Just because he hates the Nuggets.
