  • Joker can be so damn sloppy with the ball. Super frustrating

    • Got to start running some different action off the dribble hand offs to get them to back off. Perfect chance to fake it and have the guard spin back towards the basket for an easy dunk.

Team is looking a lot better than I thought they would so far, hopefully they don’t fall apart the rest of the game.

      • Absolutely assenting to foul and let them hold for the last shot of the half just because you have a foul to give. Ended up in the worst possible scenario.

Also forgot where Steph Curry plays for Portland now.

        • These refs are letting a lot go near the basket but are being very picky away from the basket. Not sure if it’s just inconsistencies or they poor view point into a crowd of bodies. Also kind of feel like we look/complain for a lot of calls and it’s influencing the refs the opposite way.

We’ve had a ton of times this series where players have whined about calls or taken their time getting up off the court and letting Portland have a 5 on 4

                • The fight in this team is championship level. Man Jokic is a star, we need this Millsap for the rest of the series. Murray has ice in his veins. Dame is going to come out on fire the rest of the series, and CJ has been next level. Goal is to not let the other guys get hot.
What's the difference between ignorance and apathy?

The good news is for most of the series it seems like Dame or CJ are never both hot at the same time. I think that’s allowed us to hang around both games in Portland.

                    • I love this Nuggets team. They never give up. If KD leaves Golden State next year and MPJ is as good as expected, we can compete for the championship.

                      • How good is playoff basketball, and how good is watching a Nuggets team with no quit in them, huge. Looking back, I could of seen this thing being over in 5 against the Spurs. That 2nd quarter run we had in game 4 in San Antonio was the turning point for this young team. We were down 2-1 in the series, on the road, and just got dominated in the 1st quarter of game 4. We could of rolled over, blamed the inexperience, and called it a step in the right direction, but the fight back to win that game turned everything around in my opinion. Just like after that game 4 win, momentum was back in our favour, and I believe now we have the upper hand against Portland. It's going to be a fun finish.

                        • I really hope the team comes out charged up and on fire tomorrow night and holds serve. I feel like we’ve gotten away with back to back modest Dame performances and he is due for a massive game.

Just really hope it’s not until game 6 to save their season. Would be so disappointing to fight back that hard and not take care of business at home.

But these teams seem so evenly matched after all and both have proven they can win in each other’s house.

                          • Looking at the roster guys, what do you think we try to do in the off-season ? Surely with this little run we are having, the media attention we are getting, and the promise the young guys are showing, surely we are becoming a more attractive location for free agents ? I would love to get a backup big who is a little more consistent than Plumlee, or a consistent small forward who offers a little more consistency than Barton. No idea who is available, but moving the contract of Barton needs to be pursued.

I would love to move both as that would save about 25M in cap space. However I doubt anyone takes either of them at their contracts, but Barton could be easier to move. Seeing as Barton is Malone's guy I doubt we see that happen.

I know it won't happen, but if KD leaves Golden State and joined the Nuggets he'd instantly make us the favorites for the championship IMO. Trade Milsap and Barton if needed and we could easily pay for KD. It's a shame the big names won't even consider us.
