Bednar just said that Burakovsky had a broken ankle and a broken right thumb. He had surgery on his thumb.

I told my brother before the game that I bet it was never a real possibility and was probably just a Bednar smokescreen making it seem possible all series. Hate he didn’t get to play all series but he still provided his heroics and gets the cup.

I went nuts. Got several shirts. Got the kids shirts. Got a pennant and also couldn’t pass on a photo that shows the series record for the playoffs plus the 4-2 over Tampa and then the cup and says Avs as champs.

Nazem Kadri had multiple breaks in his thumb. He said it was a six-week recovery turned into two.

I do hate how hockey injuries are reported though get absolutely no info at all

Yeah that’ll have to wait for a Xmas wish list. Which the temps here are better for that in winter anyway. I actually didn’t wear my Mac jersey for the first time all series tonight. Decided to go back to the same red Avs t shirt that I wore all playoffs which is the only short I usually ever wear in the playoffs. And what do you know it worked.
