Van Halen Reunion Tour Has Begun

They opened up in Charlotte, NC last Thursday and the reviews on XM Radio were pretty good.

They said the sound was great and Wolfgang did well. They did laugh about David Lee Roth's short hair. Kandy the DJ asked if he had spandex or leather? They said leather. Then she asked if he did any of his kicks? And the answer was yes but not as many. I guess age has caught up to him.

They will be in Philly this Wednesday.

From what I seen on Youtube, they all LOOKED and SOUNDED really great, everyone was smiling, Dave was behaving himself, Wolf was pounding his bass pretty good, and Ed was smilin Ear to Ear, and proud as a peacock!

Still though, it would be better with Anthony in the fold, but all things considered, it is going better then I thought it would.

I think many VH fans wanted to see how the first few shows went off. The reviews have been fantastic so people are believing that it is in fact a show that shouldn't be missed.

I read several more reviews from the past few weeks and all of them are positive.

Las Vegas would be the closest thing for us, and I'm not sure if they will play there and if we can make it.

EDIT: I shoulda clicked my own link before posting. But I see they will be at the MGM Dec 28 & 30. Problem with that place is ticket prices. I'm afraid to see how much they are.

EDIT2: OMG!! Cheapest seats are $113 all the way up to $3125 for the front row. Dear God!! I knew it. Vegas is so bad for ticket prices and the sad thing is people will pay that. YIKES!!

That is the most FRIGGING OUTRAGEOUS prices I ever seen! And the bad thing is, they are selling out everywhere, so this gouging will not stop any time soon.

Just wait when the Eagles start touring next year. I already heard the cheap seats will be around $200!

He is in Sammy Hagar's band now and I saw that tour on the TV special from St. Louis. It was really quite good. The first whole set is nothing but Sammy tunes then they took a 20 minute break. They came back and second set was all Van Halen tunes.

The stage looked like Cabo with huts, palm trees, women in bikinis the whole ball of wax and waitresses kept bringing Sammy drinks. Really fun show.

It was awesome.

The reviews from last night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles were fantastic.

You don't have much longer to wait.
