Your absolutely right, lets talk Bronco's.
COACHES- happy to see Jay throwing downfield, not much for gadget plays this year, but, overall, he is coming along. Defensively, we are a mess and could use an overhaul.
In researching Bates record he appears to be a great coach against the pass but lousy against the run, his scheme is entirely too difficult and because of that most free agents will refrain from coming here. To see guys like Lynch and Bailey confused on the field was painfull.
QB- Cutler has done a very nice job this year.
RB- There are some good ones in the draft, expect to see us grab one in round 2
WR- We will pick up a solid #2 veteran.
TE- No problems.
O Line- I expect us to keep Nalen and release Hamilton, expect a draft pick in the lower rounds.
D-Line- I expect our number 1 pick to go DT, we will be much better next year simply because our rookies are headed into year 2. (big leap from year 1 to year 2)
Linebackers- Look for a free agent pickup, I think we should keep Gold, but, I am in the minority on this.
CB- No problems.
Safety- If Phillips is there they will grab him, if not, expect a mid round selection.
Overall the team has some very nice pieces, the offense will get better and with a new DC we will emphasize defense in the draft, with the right guy we will be respectable quickly.
Next year with a new DC, I expect 11-5 season.Comment

Also remember......you wanted me to talk "football"......pretty sure the thread says "but football", however, in keeping with the spirit of your post I have been happy to reply as such.
If you feel slighted in any other forums, please remember that although my opinion in highly valued in North America and most of the free world, it does come with a certain candor and verbose quality, it is never meant to be offensive.Comment
