Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

That bugged me too.... and the song in jabba's palace.... it now sounds less alien and too..... earthy?
well I certainly hope so.... unfortunately, it's too late for me, unless they box I-VI....
although I'll have a hard time convincing the wife to let me rebuy 3 movies I already own...
I did love the 4th dvd that came with the IV-VI box set. It had all kinds of cool behind the scenes crap that I had never known before, despite having been a fan since I was three.... when Star Wars was first released.
I do believe that there were 2 sets released... The one with the altered scenes and then one unaltered transfers from the laserdiscs. I remember reading that the problem with the unaltered ones is that they are truly unaltered as no cleanup was done, so I believe that set suffers in both audio and visuals. So a good set of the unaltered trilogy is still not out.
As for the prequel trilogy, I think I can live without seeing it again. There were some great fights, but I probably won't miss much of anything else.
Maybe by 2012 Lucas will do them in a box set. You know after he does them in a3D releaseor something. I have 4-6 on DVD, waiting for 1-3 to be boxed before I get them, becuase if I bought them seperatley, the next week Gerogie would decide to release them is some soecial set. Just the way he works.
I wish you'd go ahead and buy them so he'd release a box set for me...

I say you should just buy Episode I & II, then get the IV-VI box set
That was the 2004 release of the box set (which I have too). I think I read somewhere they put Sebastian Shaw back in.

I've decided I'm WAY overdue of watching the original Star Wars Trilogy (even though I used to have it memorized. :laugh ).
I've been waiting to buy them all on DVD because I knew eventually they'd come out with an all in one set with a cool casing and so on and so forth. (I own Episodes II and III because I couldn't wait when they came out... although now that I think about it, I may have lost Episode II to the hurricane).
I was going to just do an Amazon search, but then I figured... hey... this would be fun to have a thread about just for the hell of it.
Then I got to thinking about it when I was waiting for the time to post this... and I realized that I should wait until it is all out on HD.... er... Bluray that is.
I don't have the patience though... Lucas is known for taking AGES on this sort of thing (assuming it's not out, which it could be, as I'm an idiot). So I'll probably go out and get some sort of set or sets sometime soon.
Any thoughts?
They always take forever to do these things.

I bought the boxed set for episodes 4-6. It was pretty cool, although I hate that they changed out the image of anikan/vader in the return of the jedi at the end when he appears with obi-wan and yoda.:

I own episode 1 on vhs, but like you, i've been waiting for some sort of boxed set to come out that either has 1-3 or all six.
I'm probably going to break down someday and just buy 1-3 anyway, but I'm going to wait until I've got the whole hi-def set up... either way, it'll be awhile...
I don't mind that.... but I don't like that they changed the song....
