? about Madden 05 Ship Date

I pre-ordered the Madden 05 CE from ebgames.com. Anyone else do this? The ship date says Aug 9 (i have it shipping overnight), so does that mean im gona be getting my copy the 9th or the 12th when it is released in stores?

Shipping means they get it on the 9th, that means youll get it on the 10th if you did overnight shipping, at least thats the way its all ways been for me in the past, i use eb games alot...hehe

I'm laughing at all you guys who didn't pick up the best football game this season for $20. I've been playing ESPN NFL 2K5 for the last 2 weeks and ya'll still have a week to go. You know you could've picked up a real game until that insulting piece of bat crap came out. Its only $20. Were you afraid you would like it or it would be too hard seeing how you need to use your knowledge of football to win playing it.

My friend returned it, we like a real football experience, waiting for madden.

I know you didn't say that with that CFL logo for your pic.

Oh and thats the typical answer for someone who found out they can't play ESPN. You figure since you can rule on Madden that you can pick up any football game and rip it a new one. Then when you found out you can't you say it isn't realistic.

Take away the momentum Madden has and all you have is a better looking Sega Genesis version of Madden. Madden insults my intelligence when I play it.

Don't go dissing CFL football. Less downs then the NFL, more players, longer field, Higher scoring. It is a harder game then the NFL, i follow both though.

I respect the DBs of the CFL but thats about it. Most of those guys couldn't make it on an NFL team thats why they're there.

It's because of the money, CFL can't afford what the NFL can, so all the best players go to the NFL. The CFL is also a lot older than the NFL.
