Since Labor Day is the unofficial end of the summer, I was just curious about your take on the crop of movies that came out this summer. Rank this summer's movies and add any comments about what you thought about each one, if you want. Put down as many as you want (but I'll just have five). Here goes:
.) Hero - Most definitely my favorite movie this summer. I won't go into detail, just track down the thread I started about it. If you haven't seen it, what the hell are you waiting for?
.) Spiderman 2 - More emtionally driven than I thought it would be (which turned out to be a good thing). One of those rare movies where the sequel was better than the original.
.) The Bourne Supremacy - A heady action thriller. Not only was the action fast and furious but Matt Damon does a great job showing us the wounded man behind the lethal skills.
.) Collateral - It was decent, nothing special. A lot a critics had a litter over this flick, but I thought it was just your standard action/suspense film.
.) The Village - Easily the worst of the five that I've seen. I thought that it lacked suspense and the plot dragged worse than a dog ready to be put out to pasture. I really could've found a better use for 9 bucks...
