What are your favorite movies?

My favorite sci-fi movie has to be Equalibrium and the first Matrix.

Favorite horror goes to The Thing (80's version).

Action/war movies: Braveheart, Saving Private Ryan, Gladiator and All Quiet on the Western Front.

Love stories: Cold Mountain (only one I've really seen, except that Tom Hanks one. Lets just forget that... thing...).

Drama: Resevoir Dogs.

Comic-book conversion: Spider-man series.

Freakin' sad movie: Armageddon; I cried a little, so what.

Those are most of mine. Some others most definitely but I can't really remember them.

I gotta say, Gothika and The Butterfly Effect are two of the worst movies ever made. They're not even good in a so bad they're kinda good way, they're just poor cinema.

scarface is good, but overrated in my view..its such a tough-guy cliche to have your fav movie be scarface... CARLITO's WAY, same director, same pacino is a much better film and seems to always be slept on.....

as for comedies, COMING TO AMERICA is a classic, and any other 80's eddie murphy film is perfect for a hangover-saturday/sunday afternoon during the offseason.
