Oops .. didn't mean to have Showgirls quoted.

I guess seeing Elizabeth Berkley a few times must have sunk in subconsciously...
The Browns are gone; I'm not a fan of the Impostors

The real Browns are in Baltimore, see?

This movie was made for kids, not the older fans of the first three IMHO. Episode 2 was good and Episode 3 was great. But TPM was not a good movie by any stretch IMO. And Darth Maul was in it for what, a minute? Definitely not enough to make me feel like he was a real bad a$$. But to each his own.
Good points, and I agree with all of them (except for Darth Maul ). It is the worst Star Wars movie. My point was just that it definitely doesn't deserve to be on the "Worst Movies Ever" list

Prom Night...or just about every "horror" movie made in the past 10 years.

Really, though, if you take Jar Jar out of it and maybe recast Jake Lloyd with a better actor (I know it is tough when they are young), dont you have a much better movie? Just small tweaks give it a better flow. Not to mention, as far as visuals go, the movie is fantastic.

            And yes, Darth Maul rocks.

I actually thought Jake Lloyd was okay. And I really like TPM (all 6 Star Wars movies make my Top 10 Favorites list). I agree, if Jar Jar wasn't in it it would be a better movie.

Having a Gungan befriend Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan is important, so later Amidala can ask him for help to fight the Federation. All Lucas needed to do was make that Gungan a decent character. Instead, he creates one of the most annoying characters of all time.

Yes, Darth Maul is awesome. I was 9 when TPM came out, and I didn't even like Star Wars back then, and I still thought Darth Maul was the coolest villain ever.
