I don't listen to heavy heavy stuff, but I've been listening to a lot of Bring Me The Horizion.


Check out their recent single, soooo br00tal but insturmental! Sweet guitar riffs, fast drumming.. and violins? YES SIR!

No offense taken.. That's whats great about music. Everyone has their own taste, likes, and dislikes.

More that come into my mind are:

Coheed & Cambria - Some are like, "Oh the singers voice sounds like a girl!" but honestly I like his voice and they have lots of good songs. You might know one of their songs from the Rock Band game.

The Hives are pretty cool with their brit rock pop fused sound.

Hollywood Undead has a lot of cool hip hop rock songs.

MGMT is amazing but there's not a lot of followers.

Mishka - Soothing reggae

Shwayze - Awesome chill music

Smashing Pumpkins - You haven't listened to alternative music if you haven't listened to the album Siamese Dream.

i just recently got into coheed and cambria, they are so damn good

i am a huge metal fan so if you don't like metal you might not like this and if you do like metal chances are you have heard of these guys and have an opinion on them already.

but this is probably one of my favorite bands of all time. they are a progressive/ death metal band from Sweden with a vocalist that sings with clean progressive vocals as well as having black metalish /death metal vocals.



you got that, which i think most people would like.



and that.



but then you got that which has clean and death metal vocals.



if you only like the clean vocals but like the music check out the album "damnation" it has all clean vocals on it.

Everybody should know Opeth. Even if you don't like death metal. They define their genre.

yeah, i mainly made that post for non metal fans or for people who like it but only know of the main stream metal bands here in the states.

opeth is far far more popular in Europe than it is over here.
