I haven't played WoW in about a year or so, I guess, since I ran out of time, money, and interest. However, my guild is composed of some old gaming buddies who I still keep in contact with, so this is really more of a hiatus, because I'm liable to start playing again, probably in the summer. We're on Kargath, I've got an 80 death knight (haven't played since Wrath) and a handful of other characters that aren't up to 80 yet. I miss the WoW scenery, so I probably won't be able to resist, haha.

So I just received a scroll of resurrection from someone who I don't know. I haven't played since FT and all that I've heard has been negative. Debating on picking it up just to see whats new. Mainly raided, a lil bit of pvp. Anyone have advice, or warnings for me? Thanks in advance.

Wow stole a couple years of my life away. I quit playing right before lich king came out. I got tired of paying the monthly fee to do the same bs over and over again. Also it seemed to me like with every patch the game got easier, and more geared away from my demographic and more towards the kids.

Stopped playing about a month and a half ago. Just didn't hold my attention anymore. I did PvP and I raided, after you do that regularly for a few months, it just gets repetitive. I actually just uninstalled WoW from my computer a few days ago, the first time I've ever done that since I started playing.

I bet that was tough to do. I was able to break away about 2 1/2 years now. I'll admit.. even now I get the random urge. But then I look at my gorgeous wife and realize that I really like being near her..

Just downed Atramedes and Ascendant Council, moving on to Cho'gall right now. Give it a few attempts before the end of raid time.

My main is a hunter and just finally started raiding a few weeks ago after an almost two month break from WoW. Our raid group is currently 7/12, almost 8/12 after a last minute attempt on Ascendant Council at the end of raid time last night.

Raiding again tonight and we're hoping to get another three bosses down. I'm in a fairly large guild, we have two 25 mans and a 10 man going every week. I am part of the 10 man which we just started up, I think we're doing pretty well for the late start. The main 25 man raid is 12/12 and working on HMs.

I also have an 85 Holy Paladin on my old server which I just got geared for heroics. I've been playing that character a lot more lately, do all my PvP on the pally.

Got to 85, but gear lving is boring as heck. Healing is a hassle.

I gave the trial a shot and really enjoyed it. Decided to crack on with my mage and I'm now kitted and raiding. Heroics are alot harder, but if you do them with guildies or capable people they're a cakewalk. Some nice loot as well.

Getting to heroic level is probably harder than the instances themselves. The gear-level is an absolute pain in the neck.

Finally got my gear requirement for Heroics today. Not sure if I am going to start running them yet though. Everyone I've talked to said they are really hard which I thought was surprising because I've been breezing through all the regular dungeons. My single target DPS is just nasty on my hunter and I usually finish 1st overall for the entire dungeon. Loving my new Survival spec.

I play on Perenolde. Doubt any of you have a character there considering the small amount of people who play on these boards and the large amount of servers there actually is.
