Here is my top ten, though not necessarily in any kind of order:

The Big Lebowski.- A Cohen Bros. masterpiece.
O'Brother Where Art Thou- see above comment
Jaws- If there has ever been a tougher and cooler character than Quint I haven't seen em'.
        Pulp Fiction- Best dialogue ever.
The Assassination of Jessie James by the Coward Robert Ford- Realistic, visceral, and gripping.
The Sandlot- Greatest family movie ever made.
The Shining- I'm a horror movie buff, and Horror doesn't get much better than this.
Goodfellas- What guy doesn't love this flick?
Night of the Living Dead- Romero is king.
        Lonesome Dove- Gus is badass.

Honerable Mention- Reservoir Dogs, Second Hand Lions, Field of Dreams, The Natural, Bull Durham, The Cooler, Things to do in Denver When You're Dead, Fargo,................so many more.

I have the top 250 movies of all-time on my website. Now I don't necessarily agree with all of them, however it is a very good list.

Why is everyone leaving off Shawshank Redemption and the Green mile?

If we're talking "favorite" movies ever, and not "best" ever, then my list looks pretty pedestrian. Still, I love these flicks.

              1. The Rock
              1. Ronin
              3. Black Hawk Down
              4. Event Horizon
              5. Blazing Saddles
              6. Snatch
              7. Die Hard
              8. Ran
              9. The Fountain
              10. The Hudsucker Proxy

Honorable mentions: Inglourious Basterds, Batman Returns, The Departed, The Big Lebowski, Robocop, The Incredibles, Alien

I've actually heard of that movie. I'm a Michael Ironside fan myself and know he's in it. Been wanting to watch it for a while. Haven't had the change.
