Dead By Sunrise- Out Of Ashes

I bought the CD with little expectations. I just wanted to get my fix because I'm a huge Linkin Park fan and I was dearly wanting some new music.

Dead By Sunrise, Chester Bennington of Linkin Park, started up this side-project. It has a different sound and feel than Linkin Park, but you can definitely hear some Linkin Park elements incorporated into it.

However, I was way surprised with the music. It's actually very good. I mean really good, in like this CD will hold me off until Linkin Park releases its new CD somewhere in the 1st half of 2010. I recommend this CD. Go out and buy it if you like Linkin Park, or even if you like rock music. It's $11 at Wal-Mart.

You can preview a few of their songs on their myspace. Also, you can look up the track listing on Wikipedia or something, and then google the song followed by "IMEEM" to stream the songs so you can hear them before you decide to buy the CD or not.

My favorites are tracks 1-5 (Fire, Crawl Back In, Too Late, Inside of Me, Let Down [very good song]) Also track 9 isn't that bad and I like it (Into You)

It wasn't bad. I didn't buy the whole CD because I previewed it before I considered buying it and didn't like the whole thing, but I bought like 4 songs off of iTunes.

Which songs did you like? Considering that I only bought the CD yesterday, I have only been through it once fully.
