Who should be the Next Guitar Hero/Rock Band game

After playing The Beatles Rock Band, a got to thinking of other band I would like to "live" there careers. The list includes (in no order).

1. Neil Diamond. He has always been one of my all time favs
2. Garth Brooks. He is the number one selling artist of all time.
3. The Beach Boys. Build on the harmonizing that The Beatles started.
4. Third Day. Rolling Stone Magazine one of the greatest American Rock Bands of all time.
5. Steven Curtis Chapman. His friends call him Steven Curtis Clapton.

It's already announced. Rock Band announced "Rock Band: Green Day", capitalizing on the access they have to the bands catalogue. Warner Bros. artists are notoriously hard to license, this was pretty big.

GH recently released Van Halen. A rehash of the GH5 engine with VH songs and "artists inspired by Van Halen" like Weezer and Blink 182.

First, Green Day and Harmonix reached an agreement
Second, they have sold over 20 million copies of their albums (not including their best of), they have four GRAMMY awards, for best performance and one for Record of the Year, and they have had two #1 albums (not songs, which are easier to get to #1, but complete albums) on the Billboard 200 (which competes against all genres) as well as two #2 albums.

I cannot wait for the Green Day rock band.

I LOVE Green Day. I started listening to them when American Idiot came out and ever since they have become my favorite band.

Now, the guitar may be a little boring (they only use like 3 cords) but the drums are going to be Bad ass. Tre Cool (the drummer) is a great drummer. And the Bass is going to be pretty cool. Songs like Longview and others off of the Dookie album are going to be great on bass.


I can't wait!!!

There's songs like 21st Century Breakdown which will be amazing on guitar, drums and bass.

Panic Song hopefully, shall be epic on bass.

Welcome to Paradise on all instruments, I'll be interested to see how the Guitar gets charted, since Blitzkrieg Bop is literally the same chord progression as Welcome To Paradise but backwards, and Blitzkrieg Bop is available on RB already.

There's songs like 21st Century Breakdown which will be amazing on guitar, drums and bass.
