  • Ever have an Album that you listneded to a lot, then forgot about, then rediscovered?

I don't know why, but I hadn't listened to Blackout by Dropkick Murphys in about 2 years.

I put it on driving back from the slopes on Friday, and was promptly blown away by how good it really was. I can't believe I've ignored it for that long!

Anyone else experience this, where you just kind of...forget... about one of your favorites?

'Trick of the Tail' by Genesis
      'Makin' Magic' by Pat Travers
      'Little Queen' by Heart

Loved all 3 when I was a teenager - fell in love with em' again this year!

I get so disgusted with radio and new music these days that I've been digging into my library for quite some time now. To name a few recent ones for me:

Winds Of Change by Jefferson Starship

        Dream Police by Cheap Trick

Spring Session M by Missing Persons

Free For All by Ted Nugent

          Pearl Jam - Ten

Used to listen to this album a lot as a kid then I kind of just forgot about it. Last summer I was going through old CDs and it turned up and I immediately popped it into my CD player. I really forgot how incredible this album is.

Happened to me with Carnival of Souls by KISS (underrated KISS album IMO), hadn't listened to it for a couple of years and found it again a while back.

Agreed, in fact I like it so much more than I did when it first came out.

I need to listen to all of those all over again, particularly Soundgarden.

Not really a physical album... but I have gone through my Itunes library and have found songs which I haven't listened too in a LONG time that I've always enjoyed.

                    Nice...

Superunknown is by far their best CD in my opinion.

Same here... some of the songs really grew on me after a while.

Ten is probably my all time favorite album and I listen to it all the time.

Another album I've recently rediscovered is Breathe by Midnight Oil. I love these guys, used to listen to 'em when I was a kid but I completely forgot about them.
