Final Fantasy fan here...
I recently purchased a Sony PSP-3000 (screw the PSP Go!) and downloaded Final Fantasy VII. It has been like 11-12 years since I played FF7. I do have an iPhone 3G as well but I haven't gotten around to downloading FF I and II. Since I bought my PSP, I'm ready to cut back on purchasing games for the iPhone 3G since it's nothing more than a battery sucking vampire.
FYI, the FFVII game file from PSN is 1349 MB which puts it at just under 1.35 GB.
I really enjoyed Final Fantasy X for the PS2 and haven't played it since. If the rumored PSP2 is like a portable PS2, I'd put some serious thought into getting FFX.
I did play Crisis Core on the PSP and it was awesome but I prefer turn based RPGs.
I hope Final Fantasy IV and VI in addition to Chrono Trigger will end up on PSN so I can download it to the PSP. Since FFVII and FFVIII has been selling like hotcakes on PSN, I'm sure Square Enix will definetly give us more PSOne games from their catalog.
