Spoiled myself at the bookstore recently

The Black Swan - 2nd edition - Nassim Nicholas Taleb
The book goes into how highly improbable events have driven history, and how we in the aftermath explain exactly how this event developed.

The Everything Changed - Jeff Greenfield
A few short stories about alternative histories (about halfway through the first one, about a successful assassination of JFK by Richard Pavlick)

    Parallel Worlds - Michio Kaku
Sort of an overview of M-theory as a subset of string theory.

Also picked up Economic Facts and Fallacies,2nd Edition by Sowell, The Best Game Ever by Bowden, and The War that Came Early, West and East by Turtledove.

I also finished my first graphic novel DMZ: On the Ground by Brian Wood, Illustrated by Riccardo Burchielli. It was suggested to me by a friend. It was entertaining, but, didn't really pull me in. Might pick up the second volume, since they're only about ten bucks each.

I read it in third grade and loved it... just me though.

I'm now reading Boys Will Be Boys. It's about the 90's Cowboys and all the drugs and fights and all that it starts off talking about Irvin stabbing his teamate in the neck at the barber shop so hopefully it stays just as funny and interesting.
