These new vampire movies are complete trash and a disgrace to good vampire movies like Salem's Lot and Fright Night. Hell even John Carpenter's Vampires makes these new movies look bad. I agree with Snapping Turtle though, it's just a lame trend that will eventually pass. I've never seen Twilight but all I needed to do was look at some pictures/advertisements of it to know why it appeals to young teenage girls so much.

Vampires nowadays are a disgrace to the good ol boys. Its whatever movie or show decided to make vampires the "good guys". Whoever decided to give them souls ruined em.

Dracula's alright. I prefer learning about the real Dracula to the fictional one. And yeah, Louis is kind of emo...but Lestat is a badass. And I'm talking about in the books, not in the movie. I was terrified of him the entire time I was reading them.
