  • Going To Concerts

We just went through concert ticket stubs.

This whole thing was brought up by Bret Michaels of Poison and this sad situation and how badly we feel about him and hope he is going to be OK.

Poison, by far, was one of my personal favorite big hair 80's band.

We are praying and hoping the best for his recovery.

It is amazing to look through these ticket stubs and view certain bands that have suffered loss.

Seeing Freddie Mercury before he died has to be the biggest.

I was fortunate enough to see Freddie, too. What an incredible performer he was.

I was lucky to see Nirvana back in the day. Man Kurt Cobain was pretty impressive live.

Yeah, I saw them at the Denver Coliseum a month before he died. It was one of the scariest things I have ever seen. This was right after the Denver government banned stadium seating in the city, so there were seats on the floor. When Nirvana came out they played a couple of songs, stopped in the middle of Polly, and Kurt says 'I know your f*****g mayor says you have to be in seats, but not for this one'. And then they rip into Breed and the crowd started to rip the seats apart and throw them around. Very awesome and scary at the same time.

I'm so distraught about Bret. My best friend and I have major love for him, but luckily it sounds like he is recovering.

I haven't seen any deceased performers, but I saw Brooks and Dunn a few years back, I'm glad I saw them when I did since they're breaking up.

It was probably 1991 in Phoenix when i saw them. Pear Jam opened then Nirvana Chilli peppers headlined. But Nirvana stole the show it was awesome.

And Ive seen Pantera about 10 times Dimebag was the man.
