Even better scorpion is a good guy,I loved him growing up he was my favorite character in Mortal Kombat. Heck I was him for Halloween 6yrs ago.

The scorpion good guy thing is not even knew. I few years back in one of the games or one of the books(I don't remember which one)Scorpion is set out to kill Zub Zero. In this film Scorpion is only good to fight Zub Zero.


Also guys this is not a official trailer,it's just a teaser video. The actual movie doesn't even come out till 2013 in based on IMDB there's not even a cast listed.

So there's no proof that this is for the movie,it may be for a new game, in which scorpion joins the good side.

except the article on the Mortal Kombat page on IMDb that states it is a test clip intended to gain funding. Basically they are looking for distribution. This could be WB related, but i know WB wants to get this going, but they are having issues with the original distributor in legal battles.

yeah this. WHEN the funding does come, because WB DOES want to re-start the franchise, i hope that it isn't like this. from what i saw so far (at work and can't hear it anyway) it looks terrible. the feel of it is okay, but they did mess up the characters.

I'm intrigued. I don't see anything wrong with trying to make a more reality based version of the story to make a movie. I don't get people getting pissed about cannon when trying to change formats. This would be better than annihilation.

What some people don't know is that this would be the 4th movie.
There was a Mortal Kombat made in 1998 but it sucked so bad nobody cared for it.
