Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

I'm definitely glad to be a comic book nerd in an era of epic super hero movies. Green Lantern isn't going to be far behind this one. DC will be catching up to Marvel here soon with a rash of their own modern era movies.
Well we already saw the "government agent" type guy from iron man, and he also asked if that sentinel was "one of stark's".
I anticipate a lot of references in this regard, along with cameos of current, past, and future characters.
hmm true i noticed from the trailer that he was already aware that he was Thor isnt he supposed to be casted down to earth as Donald Blake and then finds out hes Thor?

You'll notice in most of the modern era Super Hero movies, they take a little creative license with the story lines from the original. Ala the Spiderman movies completely skipping over Gwen Stacey, having his webbing come out of his body instead of the webshooters etc.
I don't mind it so much. I don't think the movies have to follow the original story lines to a tee. I already know most of them so its cool to get new content/ story lines to digest and be entertained by.
