Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.

Silent Hill, Max Payne, Hitman, and Mortal Kombat were all good all the rest have sucked!
That Silent Hill movie scared the crap out of me back when I was 16! It was the first movie I ever really got freaked out from in a long time but I don't think I would've reacted the same if I saw it for the first time today.
The other movies you mentioned on your list are pretty terrible though.

Max Payne and hitman I understand...I questioned myself writing those...but how can you not like Mortal Kombat
I hope that there isn't a movie. I mean seriously, how many movie games are actually good? I can only think of 2 that I've ever liked.
You know they are supposedly making a Mass Effect movie and a Halo movie as well, right?
Sometimes they strike gold, but most of the time they fall on their face.
Hitman movie was ..... so-so at best. Only reason I like it is Olga Kurylenko has some rather nice scenes in the movie. Other than that, it was a disappointment.
Max Payne was just a horrible movie. They completely warped the story. Hitman and Max Payne are among my favorite games. Movies though? Blah!
Silent Hill wasn't that good either. It was ok at best. Tomb Raider? I never really liked Angelina Jolie anyway. Don't get me started on Bloodrayne!
As for the Red Dead Movie, Halo movie, and Mass Effect movie. I am divided. They could be good. But, most likely won't be.
i think if it is a movie made after a bioware game, it could be decent. if they made a movie after knights of the old republic and stuck to the story, it would be on par or even better than some of the other starwars movies, the story is that good.
so if they do make a mass effect movie, i think it could be good as long as the bioware story writers are involved.

Yeah I've heard about a Mass Effect and Halo movie. What I don't understand is why do all them have to be live action? I'm shocked that no one is really taking advantage of CGI. Can you imagine how good a Mass Effect movie in CGI would be?
The fact that I've seen some of my favorite franchises destroyed by getting turned into a movie sucks.

I cant think of a single movie made after a game that was actually good. Silent hill was ok I guess, the first resident evil movie wasnt too awful but the other two were a joke and the new one coming out looks like a parody making fun of resident evil.
Theres always rumours about these movies coming out but most never actually happen. Only one I would be excited for is dead space and I read last year there was actually talks of this happening. I loved that game.

there was only one sequel. Annihilation. the first was great (i mean for the time it was made and the effects at the time). they did a good job on the first one... second one was disgusting.

Exactly the first stuck to the games with the tournament and such. The 2nd was a crap fest with them trying to squeeze every character in. Scorpion shows up, throws 2 punches, says suckers then never seen again.

Also I hate the Resident Evil movies. You already have a popular franchise with a well established story and characters and what did they do? They start pulling characters and a "plot" right out of their butt.
