Anyone on here play any gears? I mean weather it be the first one or the piece of crap gears 2 they put out?
I say this because gears one might not have had the most amazing campaign mode but at least you could play online. I mean you can play gears 2 online but get ready to have a ulcer or two. I mean even after being out for a while the multiplayer is still crap. I picked it up a few days ago because I just brought a new xbox and figured I have been playing gears one all this time and have loved it. I get home and play the story mode first and was very pleased. Then it was to multiplayer and it was all down hill. I mean i have herd from numerous friends and people on gears one that gears 2 online was so bad. I figured I would ignore them and give it a try I mean well it has been out for a long time they have to had relased some updates to help make it better.
Sadly I was wrong, very wrong. I mean I hop on gears two and watch my guy shoot a person in the face with the shotgun 3 times to only have them respond with a one shot from theirs and my body is blown to pieces. Anyone that ever played gears knows that lag was always a problem but gears 2 raises that to the 20th power. It not like Im a bad player I know that. I can hop on gears one and dominate not as host and I dont active. But on gears 2 I find myself fighting for every active I can get to just have a chance.
The one thing I did learn from gears 2 is that dont go out and buy gears 3 right away but first to see if the multiplayer is as crap as the 2 one. Epic said they changed things because the gears one game was a shotgun fest. Yea but at least it was a good one, on gears 2 the shotgun is a crap shoot, and instead of being my go to weapon like in one Im almost reluctant to pull it out at times because only god knows if the bullets will actually work.
Does anyone else feel this way about 2? Or am I just insane?
