Been watching this show a bunch latley I actually bought all 5 seasons haha.

Anyone else watch this epic show?

I have watched every episode. I can't help but feel that Nancy Botwin is the most annoying woman on this planet. She is probably the most selfish television characters of all-time. Everything bad that has occurred to her is her own fault and she expects everyone like Andy to just drop what they're doing whenever she says so. I don't know how far you are into the show but there is a time when she goes to Andy and tells him she needs his mini-van so she can basically escape the law. She just expects him to give it up and what makes me more mad is that he does. It's ridiculous. I liked the earlier seasons much better but I continue to watch the show because I like some of the characters other than Nancy.

I missed U-turn, his character was pretty funny. The series seemed to went downhill after season 3 imo.

I'd have to agree on Nancy, I find myself liking her less and less as the seasons have gone. In season 1 I liked her, then it all went downhill.


I too continue to watch the show cuz I like some of the other characters, such as Andy, Doug, Silas and Shane (though he crazy man.... wow)

I just started on Netflix a few weeks ago. Early into season 4, it went downhill pretty quickly I think. Season 1 was good. Season 2 was good. Beginning of season 3 was good. Then downhill.....

Yep, I watch Weeds as well.

My main shows that I watch are:

Dexter, The Walking Dead, The Big C, and Weeds.

That is not including my political shows that I watch and the regular cable shows.

Did you think the show slowed down in season 4?

Would you recommend continuing on? I just can't decide what to do, I liked it up until early season 4, just now got kind of bored.

I only watch it because my girlfriend enjoys watching the show. I find myself getting angry with Nancy on a regular basis and have noticed my girlfriend has also been starting to dislike her. I liked the ending to Season 5, probably one of the best parts of the show in my opinion but if you want to stop watching, you can always pick it up back later if you hear the show turns out to improve in the later seasons. It's been renewed for a seventh season so who knows where it would go.

I just recently started watching Weeds. So far this season it seems alright.

I found the episode where they pretend to be ministers to be most funny.

I started watching it as I normally watch The Big C and following it is Weeds.

Not sure if there are other threads about this show, but figured I'd bump this thread. I just got done with it recently and watched all 8 seasons in like a week . I will say that it is a pretty good and really funny show. IMO 1st 3 seasons are the best. Next 3 seasons are still not bad and good at times. But I really wasn't crazy for the last 2 seasons. And i HATED how they randomly stopped having Celia on the show for the last 3 seasons. She was really funny. So I was pretty bummed how she left and also the last 2 episodes of season 8 were bad imo. But I still enjoyed the show as a whole.

It lost it's humorous appeal when she was no longer a suburban mom dealing weed. It grew to too big of a scale and wasn't as funny when she was officially a big drug lord and on the run from the law all the time.

Yea, it was a good show, and I was addicted at first, and then it just got wack. And the last 2 episodes were just dumb imo. I wanted excitement in the last season. Not it all peaceful .. I will say though, all 7 season finales during the 1st 7 seasons were really good and ended great. Always making me want more.

And yea, I wasn't a fan of Celia at first, but I loved her after the 1st season. She always had me laughing. But whether you like her or hate her, its just dumb to not bring her back in the show for no reason. Last we saw of her, she was forming a team and was gonna start dealing drugs, and then BAM, we never see her again. I hated that.
