itunes question/help.

In itunes you have the option of having "Release Date" is the header of one of the colums. I cannot seem to be able to edit it. Does any one know how to do this, or if it is even possable? Thanks in advance.

While your cursor is on tab bars (name / time / artist etc...) right click it.

You should be able to uncheck the release date and add stuff if you want to it.

Click view, then view options and a full list of the tabs will show up... Check and
uncheck what you want.

Thanks, but that is not what I was wanting to do. I want to change the information in the release date field. I do not want it to be blank.

To my knowledge, that isnt an editable field.

Release date is the release date and they arent going to allow you to change it. I just poked around in my iTunes and wasnt able to find a work-around.

use winamp instead of itunes...

less-confusing to use, and release date is able to be edited. :thumb:

FWIW I figured out how to use sucktunes once, but it was such a PITA i immediately google-searched for a better program to use.

winamp was steered my way, and I've never looked back since.
