Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

LOLOLOL... looks like 2K wins the battle again. They minds well just scrap it and work on NBA Elite 2012. With NBA 2K11 around the corner, they have no chance of catching up. Face it EA, you lost. You simply can't keep up with 2K.
You think Madden is eventually going to be overhauled? With Backbreaker and all that, I wouldn't be surprised if EA changes. The NFL license is nice, but still, there is competition seeping in.

backbreaker did nothing to cut into the sales of madden though, where as nba2k has outsold live for a decade.
Ian Cummings, the main madden guy, asked EA a couple years ago to put in a whole new game engine, but they turned him down because they didnt want to spend the money.

Backbreaker was terrible, it stood no chance against Madden. Only football game that could challenge Madden is NFL 2K.

That's unfortunate, because I think Madden will eventually lose buyers if they don't revamp the physics or at least doesn't change some of the gameplay aspects.

They have been losing a lot of sales in the last couple years.
Ahahaha I herd this about a day ago and it made me laugh. EA presented this game saying how they are such an amazing franchise and the game will rock your socks, to bad it wont, and probably never will. EA games are a joke and they sell on a name and nothing more half the time. Its pretty sad we have to put up with them for a few more years with the nfl license
