That's true. The cartoons of today aren't what they were in the 90s. I miss those days!

Yeah last time I enjoyed watching cartoons was probably around '04, the 90s were the best hands down. Batman TAS, X-men, Spiderman, I could go on.

Batman Beyond, DBZ, Beast Wars,Lions King, Tarzan, Disney in the 90's was amazing, even without cartoons, for example Boy Meets World.
My cousin watches this show on CN, in the guy grab his buddy nipple, so my cousin goes to his mom n goes "purple nurple"

The only cartoon I really like from Disney was Gargoyles. Haha you know there's not much to say about this movie when we have to derail the thread to talk about something. I think this movie is going to bomb, and Transformers fans will hate Bay even more.

I don't think they were racist either. But I also don't think they were funny. Nothing in that movie was funny, and the things they tried to be funny with, dragged out so long I wanted to chuck my remote at the screen. Specfically the part where Sam first arrived at Campus.

the twins almost single-handedly ruined the movie, coupled with the mother. i don't mind the dad though. i think they thought they got people to like some of the mom's lines in the first one so they amped her up a bit...and it sucked.

also the balls dangling from Devastator really pissed me off. and the roommate too.

but i will keep telling myself the whole movie was a product of the writer's strike.

I mean wow was that movie horrid, I'm not a real big fan of Transformers, but I liked it growing up. Maybe a good director can challenge Bay by making a Beast Wars movie, in blow Bay out the water.

i don't think that will happen either, as they've now incorporated two characters from Beast Wars. Skorponok and Ravage (i know Ravage was always Megatron's dog but he was in Beast Wars too).

Today's cartoon's suck. I flip through CN, Nick and Disney, and I see nothing but crap and nonsense...

Lucky for me, I have all my favorite cartoons on DVD so I just watch them on my PS3 or 360. Granted most of them are over 10 years old, but it's better than what they have kids watching today.

Boom does an awesome job at bringing back all the oldies. Jetsons, Yogi the Bear, Tom and Jerry...

and then there are always Batman and X-Men reruns too so at least there is that. but all the newer cartoons are garbage, save for Avatar.

Wasn't Ravage one of Soundwave's minions? He had like 8 different minions in his casset player, chest.

Beast Wars was great but it will never be turned into a movie. Only hardcore Transformers fans know of it's existence. I liked it but I just don't think it's popular enough for people to understand it's significance.

I could not get into Beast Wars. To me it was sacrilege to make Prime an Ape. It also made no sin for a Robot to turn in to an animal. Cars, trucks, etc make more sense to me.

Well I liked the Dinobots growing up, so that's mainly why I enjoyed Beast Wars.

I think it depends on when you started watching transformers.
I'm 18, so Beast Wars was right on the money for time period.
10-14yrs from now, my little cousin will think the cartoon of transformers is good.

terrible title. why didn't they just use "The Dark Side of the Moon"? the phrase "dark of the moon" doesn't even make any sense. it's like they left out a word.

also i agree with Skywalker. Megan Fox was terrible... but she is better looking than this replacement of hers... and at least she does have acting experience.

now i'm hoping this skeleton proves me wrong, but given Bay's inability to even direct Oscar winning actors...i doubt he'll turn a model into one overnight.

and i always thought it was funny that Fox said something like: "all of the movies i have been in aren't any good"

I was rereading these posts and wanted to respond to your point about the title sounding like it was missing a word . The phrase "Dark of the Moon" has been around for decades. It refers to the time when there is not a visable moon in the night sky.
