I play a little game when I watch it. I try to guess how much they will offer for the item.

Did anyone else see the "Rick's Bad Day" one. I loved the look on Chum's face when he busted the glass.

            His name is Chumlee.

            It's a fun show, though.

I know. My Droid autocorrects when it thinks words are mispelled. Kind of funny it switched Chumlee to Chunked.

He is pretty funny, though. The show is a good explanation of how stupid some people can be.

"This is worth $10K, I'll give you $2K."

"That sounds like a deal. OK!"

Well as Rick says if it is worth 10k he can't pay 10k for it since he can't make a profit on it. Plus he might not be able to get 10k for it when he resells it. I do however hate it when he says something to the fact the people do not come in asking for that type of item all that often. I would tell him, if they where filming me, that since it will be shown on National TV the odds have greatly increased.

I will give him credit when he bought that Fabregia (sp) pin. The lady only wanted a few thousand for it, and he told her that they it was worth tens of thousands.

Did you know that the shop has a Broncos Super Bowl Ring.

They have a couple of Superbowl rings I believe. A Broncos, a Patriots, and a Rams I think.

I love this show also, got it DVR'd. The one thing that gets on my nerves a little is when Rick asks "how much do you want for it" then the customer says what they want and Rick comes back with something snarky like "how does it feel to want" and then LHAO. I realize it's part of the production but does he need to insult the customer? Also it's pretty amazing how fast one of his friends that knows a little more about something shows up when they need it. History channel must compemsate them nicely.

I really like the restorations they get done on some of the older items. That guy does nice work. He has his own show coming out real soon. I think his name is Rick also.

His name is Rick Dale, and the new show has started it is called "American Restorations."

It's OK, wish it was more genuine and would not try to add obvious comedy routines.

Like smashing the display case or the chair toilet falling off the truck.

Love the show American restoration, just wish they would show more of the process and less of the personal lives of the people.

Chumlee is obviously playing up his stupidity, but it is a bit entertaining

Some of the personal interaction stuff is a bit over the top, but the rest of the show makes up for it IMO.
