Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Tali, to be honest. I was mildly upset that there was no Tali-romance in ME1, but I was stoked that there was one in ME2. I didn't expect Tali to be in ME2, as I felt she was treated more like an afterthought in the first game. However, I really like the level of trust she has in your character once the romance gets rolling.
I tried gettin' it on with Samara, to no avail... but kept playing and didn't romance anyone on that save. You never know what might happen in ME3.
Word of warning: don't try to get it on with Morinth. Bad idea.
I found Liara boring in ME1, but romanced her. Decided to continue it in ME2, the first time around. That was stupid boring, but when Lair of the Shadow Broker came out, I liked that romance again.
ME2 has got to be one of the best RPG games I've ever had the pleasure of playing. That says a lot; I am a huge fan of the Baldur's Gate-series, Icewind Dale and Planescape: Torment... but Mass Effect is huge. It's epic. I love it.
Ah see, I can't stand Tali. At all. I just avoid talking to her and never bring her on missions. Once I thought about getting her killed on the suicide mission but that's a little mean I agree though, I do like how loyal she is to you.
Yeah, Morinth kills you if you do. I haven't sided with her yet, it makes me feel to evil and guilty. Samara is better anyway.
I think we'll be able to access the hanger in ME3, unless the SR-2 gets destroyed lol. We only got to go in it for that one boss fight before the Collector base. and we were able to scan the shuttle for experience, but that was it really.
The SR-2 would've been perfect if it had a few stair cases like SR-1. I absolutely hated using elevators in both games, they wern't as bad in ME2, but ME1 they sucked. I think there should've been a stair case connecting the top floor (Armory, communications, etc) to the 2nd floor (cafeteria, Miranda's office, Medic room) That really didn't have to be an elevator ride imo.
I liked the elevators on the Citadel in ME1. They served a purpose - they were clever seamless loading screens without looking like loading screens, and the 'radio' gave you hints and tips on new and exciting places you could go, and also to tell you of things you had done. I liked how they did that.
With that said, I absolutely hated the elevator onboard the SR-1. Hated it. The SR-1 is a human technological marvel...
... and the elevator moves like it's on pulleys?! C'mon, man.

Really? I like Tali a lot as she is a character players complained about not being able to have a romance with. I do remember being sort of against it, though. Thought "It's not enough for dudes to be able to have relations with a blue alien, now they want to romance a chick in a bubble suit?"
But the dialogue is pretty cool, and I like Tali's personality and character.
Must admit I like Miranda as well... in the black outfit. The white one makes her look weird.

The one's on Citadel were ok, they even put in conversations with your squadmate. The one's on Virmire were a joke.

I didn't risk romancing with Tali, not until I see her face. She could look like the predator for all we know.

Just for that, I hope they make Tali the most beautiful NPC since... uh, Jaheira in Baldur's Gate 2!
She does appear to have an elongated face, though.
Let's just agree that using the elevator on ships or side locations is a bad idea. The loading times are generally too long for the elevators to be of any good in small areas.

I find all the alien-human relationships weird. Except the asari are a little different since they can mate with anyone, so I didn't have a problem romancing Liara. But like, Shepard and Garrus? How would that even work physically?
Tali had too much "hero-worship" for me, it just got on my nerves. Miranda is beautiful yes, but I really like her as a character. I like how you can get her to soften up a bit, she was a pretty big (w)itch at the start of the game (I think that made a lot of people hate her, but I liked Miranda right from the start)
I agree, the black outfit is way better. I wish ME2 had ME1s armor system though. Miranda can wear that on the Normandy as casual wear, but it bugged me when she and Jack and Jacob and others were running around in flimsy suits and breathing masks

As far as a Garrus-romance, only one way to find out - demand the option! Bioware will listen. Not sure they'll implement it, but they'll listen.
If Tali has a hero-worship thing going on and Shepard is the subject of it, then I am k with that.
About the armor system, I like ME2's armor system better. I don't like that the DLC, as far as the armors are concerned, do not allow you to remove the helmet. I've begrudgingly stuck with the standard N7 armor just for the fact that you can choose not to wear a helmet.
With that said, I would like the armor selection back, but without all the ranks such as Spectre armor rank I through X. Felt it was redundant.

I hate wearing the helmets, which is why I didn't like the DLC armor, but you have to admit, the Dragon armor looked awesome. I actually like ME1's armor system better, just for the simple fact that had a much bigger selection. If they add that back in ME3, excluding the rankings for the armor like you said, and we're able to costumize it, that'll be so awesome.
So yeah I agree, the rank for the armors were stupid, but I wouldn't it mind it for the weapons. Like have it so that different assault rifles are better, than others like in ME1. They kinda did that in ME2 with the Sniper rifles, but it was too limited.

The Blood Dragon armor is so AWESOME. But my hate for helmets keeps me from wearing it. I would be fine with it if they just removed the helmet on dialogue and cutscenes (like they did in Dragon Age)

You can remove the helmet in ME1. And on the missions where you HAVE to wear a helmet (like the Collector ship), I just thought it was weird when Shepard has full armor and a helmet, and Miranda is running around in a catsuit and breathing mask (or Jack: no shirt, cargo pants, and a breathing mask). If that's all I was wearing on a high-risk mission I would feel really vulnerable

There is a Garrus romance option in ME2...
Or did I misread what you said?
The Romances that are possible in ME2 are:
Male Shepard with:
1. Miranda
2. Tali
3. Jack
4. Kelly Chambers
5. Samara
6. Morinth (though it leads to your death)
7. Resuming relationship with Liara (Shadowbroker)
Female Shepard with:
1. Jacob
2. Garrus
3. Thane
4. Kelly Chambers
5. Samara
6. Morinth (though it leads to your death as well)
7. Resuming relationship with Liara (Shadowbroker)

There was a lot about the customization from the first that I think they dumbed down in ME2 to suit the masses more. I mean, yes it is a lot simpler, but it's enjoyable to mix and match what I,orYOU want. I've also heard they will not be improving the graphics? I'm pretty sure the graphics could be much improved. Ugh. I am so ready for ME3

I misspoke. I'm not really sure what I meant to say, hah. Thanks for clearing up the possibilities.

The Dragon Armor looks awesome, but really, if I could wear it without the helmet, I'd be all over it. Same goes for the Terminus Assault Armor.
And yeah, I would like more weapons variety for sniper rifles. I loved the Anti-Materiel Rifle, but would've liked to have more variety.
The issue I had with the grading system for ME1 weapons weren't just the rank of the weapons themselves, but also the components. Tungsten Rounds IX, Combat Scanner VI and all that crap. I was glad that was gone. I liked the fact that weapons didn't use ammo in ME1 so you had to rely on not overheating it, so I'm not too fond of that in ME2.
But I would want more armor options. Even if it is DLC, I do not want to have to wear the helmets. I also wouldn't mind bringing back the species-specific armors.

YES! I would be fine with it if they did that. Another thing about Dragon Age that I liked was that there was blood spatter on your face and armor after a fight.

Yeah, I know you can remove the helmets in ME1, but you can't remove the helmets on any of the ME2 DLC armors sans the Kestrel armor... which is more like addons, anyway.
I never brought Jack out on missions. I either brought Tali/Legion and Samara/Miranda.
