It's a good idea so I applaud them, but I'm not really interested. It's more so having the DLC take place BEFORE the ending that renders it pointless for me. This DLC won't affect what happens after the ending so I don't really see the point of it other than to find out more about the reapers. The Extended Cut kind of already did that so... I think I'll just Youtube a playthrough at the very most. Besides, doesn't Destroy make it pointless to even have a reaper ally of any sort?

Good try, but it's not for me. I'm probably not even going to touch the game for quite some time.

It's just funny to me, when people bash a good game for something small. I can understand somethings, but it doesn't take away from the game for me. Some people haven't played it since March. I've been playing it since March. Even finally decided to give the multiplayer a chance, in I'm enjoying that too.

I made a new character on Mass Effect 1, plan on making another.
I really am not bothered too much by the ending... but I spent a lot of time reading through the different thoughts about it the week after I finally finished it etc....

I won't say I'm burnt out... but I haven't gotten around to the new DLC yet as I thought I would have... but I also thought I'd have time to buy/play Skyrim this summer, and haven't been able to do that either.

In the end, I kinda wish they did go with the indoctrination theory... that woulda been badass... but in the end, the game was killer up to the ending... and the ending didn't bother me really until I looked into more of the reasons people said they were upset.

Biggest letdown for me still was the lack of Miranda action.

Another DLC rumored and confirmed. Looks like we might get a new squadmate or really good war asset.

Voice actor Anthony Skordi has confirmed that the rumoured Mass Effect 3: Leviathan DLC found nestling among the code of the recently released Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut is indeed real, and will be the first dose of single-player story-based content for the game, following several free multiplayer add-on packs.

SPOILERS AHEAD, so if you haven't played or finished Mass Effect 3 yet, or indeed you want to go into the DLC cold, look away now. Skordi will apparently voice the titular Reaper named Leviathan, with a story set prior to the ending of the game. One for the second Insanity playthrough perhaps? Leviathan is apparently a Reaper traitor, separated from his own kind after killing one of them.

Shepard runs into Leviathan during a mission to rescue a scientist named Ann Brynson, who's being held at a Reaper-indoctrinated mining facility controlled by the errant Reaper. It's thought that the Leviathan DLC will shed more light on the Reapers and their origins, while offering Leviathan himself as a potential War Asset or an ally.

Yet to be officially announced, it's entirely possible that a proper reveal for Mass Effect 3: Leviathan will be coming to Comic-Con in San Diego later this week, with more details hopefully forthcoming. Watch this space.

They should have axed the first endings altogether instead of tack on to them.

A refurbished and shiny turd is still a turd.

Good thing I had low expectations coming into it. It's basically, at worst, what the endings should've been like the first time. They still could've done a lot more with it, but it was nice to have at least a few questions answered that the original endings didn't answer at all.

It still wasn't a fitting end to the trilogy because they skipped out on giving the characters closure and showing the aftermath of the war a year or so later from different POVs. There's no better example than the Fallout series.

They are better, brings more closure, but I think a little more work could have made it better. Something along the lines of what Fallout does to give a little more depth of what happens to a character years down the road would have been nice. By adding slides of it, they could have shown how each of your decisions worked out.

but yea, they are probably prepping it for a comic series or something they can milk off of it. Maybe a Minecraft Mass Effect where you rebuild stuff....
Yeah that's the same thing they did in Dragon Age Origins. At the end of Origins and it's DLC's they had slides playing of each major character and your character, about what they went on after the story. Don't see why they couldn't have done the same with Mass Effect 3.

Finally got to play, finished the game with my Infiltrator character for the new DLC. I'm indifferent about it.
The cut scenes are nice, but I don't feel any different from how I felt before. I actually made a mistake, since I didn't know what exactly was changed. Without spoilers, I had planned for my character to have a certain ending, but I did something, effected by the extend cut DLC that changed my ending. Wasn't to happy about it, but maybe I shouldn't have done what I did. Now I know not to do it with my other characters and when I import this character for anything playthrough.

I can imagine some more DLC. Maybe another squadmate, another mission, or something. It'd be pretty blah if they just leave the game with just multiplayer DLC's.

I have a character for each class, each taking different routes through the series. I don't care for the other 2 ending picks. Always red.
