I mean the way the DLC plays out, it can be set-up as the perfect ending to the story of Shepard and the Normandy crew, but it doesn't take place after the final battle. I haven't finished the game yet with the new DLC, so I don't know if it itself alters the final ending. But I'd assume it doesn't because it's clear Bioware is fine with the final product and the only way the new DLC would make sense as a ending is if the final battle never happened, or they confirm that portion of the Indoctrination theory.

Because any squadmate you haven't met or complete a mission with/for, will not be apart of your squad during the DLC. Aside from that I strongly recommend people download it. It has a pretty good twist, it's fun, adds some new, one part a little predictable but it doesn't ruin it. You also notice later that Bioware wanted to have fun with this one.

I keep playing the game, so the ending isn't as bad to me as others make it out. Sure I'd like a off into the sunset ending, but...

I think it's sad that a year later people are still commenting on all Bioware's videos, twitter/facebook post, Dragon Age and Mass Effect's videos and twitter/facebook post crying about the ending.

The final DLC for Mass Effect 3 is now available. My assumptions are correct, every squadmate that has served will be in the final DLC to help Shep. It's 2 parts, you have to have both parts in order to play the DLC. The first part is 1.99GB, the 2nd 2.00GB.

Here is the trailer of it they released last week:

@canadiansbronco If you liked the previous games you must play the 3rd. Beside the popular hate of the game(the ending) it's probably the best out of the series imo. Only motivation you need is in that video above.

Today Bioware announced the final 2 DLC's for Mass Effect 3. After this the story of Command Shepard is seemingly over.

The final DLC's are both a single player and a MP DLC. Now the single player DLC is something a lot of people have been waiting for, besides a changing to the ending. Wrex being a squadmate.
The description of the DLC says "Uncover the truth and fight alongside your squad – as well as the cast from the original Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2, including Urdnot Wrex!"

Here is photos and other infro on both DLC's.

Mass Effect 3: Citadel – Single Player DLC

When a sinister conspiracy targets Commander Shepard, you and your team must uncover the truth, through battles and intrigue that range from the glamour of the Citadel’s Wards to the top-secret Council Archives. Uncover the truth and fight alongside your squad – as well as the cast from the original Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2, including Urdnot Wrex!

When the adventure is over, reconnect with your favorite characters from the Mass Effect Trilogy, try your luck at the Citadel’s Silver Coast Casino, blow off steam in the Armax Combat Arena, or explore and furnish Shepard’s own living quarters on the Citadel. With unique content and cinematics featuring your friends and romance interests in the Mass Effect trilogy, Mass Effect 3: Citadel offers one final chance to see the characters you have known for years and rekindle romances.

Mass Effect 3: Citadel will release worldwide on March 5th on Xbox 360, PC and PS3 (on March 6th on PS3 in Europe). Price: $14.99, 1200MS points and 1200 BW points.

Mass Effect 3: Reckoning – Multiplayer DLC

Prepare for the Reckoning! Newfound allies join the multiplayer war for survival in Mass Effect 3: Reckoning. The Geth Juggernaut, Female Turian Raptor, Talon Mercenary, Alliance Infiltration Unit, and more take up arms to stop the Reaper threat. Smash your enemies with the Biotic Hammer as you lay waste to the battlefield as the Krogan Warlord.

Wield 7 new weapons for multiplayer, including the Geth Spitfire Assault Rifle, Venom Shotgun, Lancer Assault Rifle, and amplify your arsenal with new equipment and weapon mods featuring the Geth Scanner and Assault Rifle Omni-blade.

Mass Effect 3: Reckoning launches at no additional cost worldwide on February 26th on Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation 3 (February 27th on PlayStation 3 in Europe).

Well thought I'd give this thread a little bump since the new single player DLC is around the corner.

Coming out November 27th, will be the Omega DLC. Where you get to help Aria take Omega back from Cerberus. AND YES, you will finally be able to have her in you squad. I don't know if she'll stay in the squad after, but during the DLC, she and a female Turian named Nyreen.

This is suppose to be the biggest and longest DLC by Mass Effect. With a price of 1200 MP.

    Some photos.

My internet is really slow, so if the photos aren't showing, they are on Mass Effect's facebook page.

A new multiplayer DLC is available, this time new enemies and new characters.
The Collectors are back in Mass Effect 3's Retaliation.

Prepare to face off against the Collector Praetorian, Scion, Abomination, Trooper, and Captain. Reports have also come in that Cerberus has enlisted the Dragoon to their ranks and the Geth are deploying new Drones to the battlefield.

A host of new characters have joined the war to fight this new threat, including the Turian Havoc Soldier, Turian Ghost Infiltrator, with many more being added on a regular basis.

Wage war across six maps, featuring new environmental hazards and traps. A regular rotation of Firebases will be introduced to different hazards as they come under attack. Survive the onslaught of Acid, Lightning, Meltdowns, Sandstorms, Swarms and Whiteouts!

The Collectors have also brought deadly new weapons to the fight: the Collector Assault Rifle, Sub-Machine Gun, and Sniper Rifle. Unlock these weapons and new equipment upgrades to build to your arsenal.

    New Powerful Upgrades

Outfit your weapons with new ammo modifications and fortify your gear with unique upgrades to defeat even the toughest foes.

    New Multiplayer Challenge Feature

Think you are the best soldier in the Alliance? Make sure to track your progress in the new “Challenges” database. Complete various multiplayer assignments and feats of strength to unlock titles and banners to display in-game, and then compare your progress against your friend.

The “Challenges” database tracks various in-game statistics, such as your N7 Typhoon usage. To earn challenge points, you’ll need to complete mini-goals. For example, accumulate 140,000 points while using the Typhoon in multiplayer and you’ll be rewarded with 10 challenge points.

Challenge points are used to unlock cool in-game multiplayer bonuses, such as new titles and banners. Want other players to know that you’re a Council Operative? You can do that. Want to be the envy of your friends with a flashy new banner to display in the player lobby? You can do that, too!

Challenge points lead to unlocks, and unlocks allow you to personalize your multiplayer experience.

In if that wasn't enough...the Volus have joined the fight.

Don't know if they are in the multiplayer now or later this month, but Volus biotics will be playable characters in the multiplayer.

In other news, news that is very big depending on you stance with Bioware right now.

The group is working on a brand new game, that isn't a prequel or sequel to any current game. Just a whole new from the ground up game.

Also they slipped out a little future DLC for Mass Effect 3, that supposedly comes out this fall titled(code named) "Omega".

One can guess that it's Retake Omega, in which you help Aria T'Loak take Omega back from Cerberus.

Edit: Had to change date of Omega and also add that they are coming out with new single player related stuff for then ext 6 months.
