Yeah..so I hit into a triple play. I was playing the Pirates in Pitts so my pitcher was on deck (have I said how much I loath pitchers hitting?) With no one out and runners on first and second and pull of the double steal to have runners on second and third. Then I try for a suicide squeeze, but since I have not figured out how to send only one runner , I send both and try to bunt....... pop it straight up and the catcher nabs it and fires to third and then the third baseman throws to second.

Yeah I have the same baserunning problem. I really can't stand having to control everyone, I end up not being able to score on sac flies if I have a guy on 1st.

I'm still finding out new things about this game and I'm in September. Just last night I found out that hitting select will bring up a scouting report of sorts.

I'll have to try that out. What does it do when you're pitching? Show you hot/cold zones and averages?

It brings up a split screen of the batter analysis screen and the pitcher analysis screen, and from there you can hit R1 or L1 to navigate to which one you want to expand upon. It's really useful. When you press square on the main screen it gives you the pitchers pitches and their respective speeds.

I am so made right now. I am 98 games into the season and I can't get my system to load game 99. I can do exhibition and other teams in my season but not my 99th Sox game.

I would be furious! I haven't played since I finished my season earlier this month. I had a good ride with it, but I think it's time I trade it in.

I had to sim the game. In fact I had to sim it a few times to get a result I liked.

Got this a few days ago.

I was playing 2K prior to then.

Visually. This is probably the best looking sports game I've ever seen. Makes 2K
look like a dreamcast game.

I prefer the pitching in The Show, I think it feels better.

But man, the hitting is brutal. So difficult.

The main thing that bugs me is the errors. I average like
4 a game, just routine things. Like a grounder to 1st and my 1B just decides he's not gonna get it. My OF just decides they're not gonna catch routine flys. All the time. Usually in the 9th in close games. Very irratating.
