Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.

I got my ps3 the year it came out and it always has worked perfectly except that recently it looks like it is having trouble with newer games ( AC brotherhood and fallout new vegas especialy) it feels lagy and bugy and the graphics arent top notch.
Anybody now whats up or had that problem ?

I'm sorry if I am not any help. I don't have an extensive knowledge of such things. But it seems like any electronic technology seems to wear down. I sold my PS3. I bought one in 2007 and had to replace it. And the one I sold, it started having a few problems. Also, I currently have a 360. I bought it about a year or two ago. I've had a few problems with it also. I even bought a Wii and it wouldn't play the game that it came with.
I don't own a PS3, but my cousins does and I have a little knowledge about it, not as much as I have for 360, but...
Upgrade, even my cousin said, he has a slim, Amari basically told about the lag with games like fallout.
You might just have a old system that is just now dying, or has a hardware issue. So just upgrade to slim, slim is always better, yeah it's money but it's worth it. I got a slim 360, it's allot better than the big loan mower, heavy breathing xbox 360. My other cousin has a fat PS3 and god do I hate that thing, I don't mind my cousin with the slim.

i dont know about the system dying because black ops,or madden and nhl 11 have no issues and i dont have 299 right now

If they're not backwards compatible, just hang on to your old console, and hook it up when you want to play the older games.

That's the point, who the hell wants to horde old systems when the new system should allow you to play the older games? It worked with the PS2. Why Sony took it out of the PS3, is a mystery.
I highly doubt it's due to your console. A console wearing down won't give you poor graphics, and it's rare that it will cause your games to be buggy or laggy. It's just the games.
If you do want an upgrade, I heard a PS3 Slim for sale for 250. I took down the phone number if you want it. It's suppose to come with games. He said it was one week old. I don't want it, but it seems like a good price for someone. Also, I have no connections to the person, nor have I spoke to them. I just heard it on the radio no more than 20 minutes ago.
