Yeah. In number of people playing online, Killzone 3 has passed Black Ops, and rightfully so, because Killzone has always been a better franchise than CoD, it just get's overlooked because it's a PS3 exclusive.

Where'd you read that? I find that hard to believe... unless you're talking just about KZ3 players vs. Black Ops players on PS3, and not across all systems.

I brought my sub 0.91 k/d ratio in Geurilla Warfare, all the way up to 1.17 in a snap of a finger. I'm used to all the maps now, and I got 4 kills in less than 2 seconds, just by placing two proximity mines on the staircase in Frozen Dam. Actually, a lot of my kills are coming from placing mines in hostile areas. I find them much more useful than frag's. Playing some more later.

Some good advice I can get is to stay with your team, and never wonder off alone. Most times I did that, someone came from behind and got me with a brutal kill. But there was one incident where I was in the middle of being killed by a brutal attack, and my teammate ended up killing the guy before he knifed me in my throat. That's why it's always good to stick with your team.

Also when you unlock the ability to plant mines, plant those in areas where the opposing team is most likely to run past, you can get tons of kills just by doing that. Hell, a lot of my deaths are from people using mines, and I accidentley walk on them. But it's good fun, lots of great gun fights in all. Best of all, there aren't really any campers at all, I've played a lot of matches, and most of them was just people running around shooting at other people, chucking gernades, etc. Rarely have I ever found someone camping.

The funny thing about me and Call of Duty is, I play it because the number of friends that have it, every Call of Duty game is the same thing over in over again.

There is never anything new, "Oh what about the story" well in each CoD campaign, you are looking for a guy, and Russia is involved. There is nothing new, "Oh well the Killstreaks are different" Really there different by that much, the perks are not that far apart from each other. CoD is the most overrated and repetitive thing on this planet.The people that praise it, don't even know anything about games. Most of the really good CoD players suck at every other shooter. If you watch there youtube videos, there always trashing Killzone, Battlefield, Halo, Gears,etc and they praise CoD as the best series of all shooters.

Anyways back to killzone. I've not played that much online, I played a few games.

For the weapons, I'm really big on Assault Rifles, no matter the game. M82 is nice, hate the way it reloads, to much in screen blocking while playing online, The Sta-14 is really nice, I used it allot. But if the M82 didn't have all the in your faceness with reload, that would be my favorite rifle.

That is exactly right it's most overrated game I could ever remember I don't understand why so many people like it so much. The thing I HATE about all COD games is how quickly and fast you die than add in all the campers in the game it's redicoulous makes the game no fun and for most part people that play online are rude disrespectful... Like they say COD = Camp or Die lol

Wow... just found out that Killzone 3 overtook Black Ops for online multiplayer. I guess people have been fed up with it's flaws and moved on to a great game like Killzone 3.

This 100% I cant stand COD gameplay it's repetitve and boring I hate how game is set up for most part. Killzone 3 is amazing game just beat single player story mode tonight was a lot of fun I plain on playing online soon any advise?

Medal of Honor does something like that, when the match ends. There is a cutscene of you team.

Killzone 3 does it throughout the match. If you succeed or fail your objective, it'll show the players who contributed the most in completing that objective, during a cutscene.

So let's say the objective was Bodycount (kill the most people on opposing team) If you came in the top 3 on your team in that regard, it'll show you guys in the cutscene blowing something up, escaping from a facility, or some other cool actions. And if you beat the opposing team at the end of the match it shows you capturing them, hitting them, and having them at gunpoint. It's pretty rewarding and cool.

It only does this in 'Operations mode' btw. 'Operations' is basically all the game mode types thrown into one match, and they'll keep changing throughout the entire match. For example, for 3-5 minutes the objective could be bodycount, after that your objective might change to capture the object, or search and destroy, blow up X amount of pillars/bridges, and so on and so fourth. There are so many variables it's cool.

I can see other FPS like BF3 doing something like that for online multiplayer.

For some reason I might've gotten worse lol. In Killzone 2 I was able to keep my K/D ratio over 1.12, in Killzone 3 it's only 0.94 in Guerilla Warfare (Deathmatch). But K/D only appeals to me in Bodycount (Deathmatch), so I don't really care. Also for people wondering, there is no normal Deathmatch, it's only team deatmatch, Helghast Vs. ISA.
