  • The Battle of DLC

I will ask a number of questions about downloadable content, each gets it's own answer. Also give you reason why for your answer

There are allot of great DLC out there, what is the best DLC in you opinion?

For me it's the Lair of the Shadow Broker(Mass Effect 2), it's a long DLC for 800 points, worth the points, and at the end of the day, you have the shadow broker on your side and you get more resources.(which is needed in the game)

What console do you think holds the best DLC?

I have no real reason, but for me it's the 360.

What video games is the biggest bang for you buck, based on it's DLC?

I say Mass Effect, because there are allot of DLC, each can help, and extend the story further.

The last question is, which DLC do you prefer more? DLC for multi-player(more maps and weapons for online battle) or DLC for single player( extended story, more weapons.)

What are your answers to these questions, in the battle of downloadable content?

Undead Nightmare for Red Dead Redemption. The original game was awesome, but this is just more of the same... with ZOMEBIES! It's awesome

What console do you think holds the best DLC?

    360. Microsoft likes to buy exclusive rights for DLC it seems.

What video games is the biggest bang for you buck, based on it's DLC?

Fallout 3 or Borderlands.... I'd probably go with Fallout 3. Each one is a great story and a lot of fun to play.

The last question is, which DLC do you prefer more? DLC for multi-player(more maps and weapons for online battle) or DLC for single player( extended story, more weapons.)

Definitely single player. Single player games can get old rather quickly, but a good multiplayer game is always fun, so DLC for single player makes it easier to go back to the actual game and its story.

I've played and owned, Red Dead, but never played the undead nightmare, heard it was/is great.

Microsoft tends to buy them exclusive? I agree, for Fallout new vegas, the first DLC was a 360 exclusive.

I really like the DLC for Fallout 3. They are really good, then of course there is Undead Nightmare for Red Dead Redemption, which is just amazing. Then there is the DLC for Dragon Age and Mass Effect. They are all GOOD! Thinking of getting Dead Money for Fallout: New Vegas.
What console do you think holds the best DLC?

            I only play the 360.

What video games is the biggest bang for you buck, based on it's DLC?

I would say both Mass Effect 2 and Red Dead Redemption.

I like them both equally. Multiplayer DLC and Single Player DLC are awesome.

The best DLC that I've played so far is defintley Lair of the Shadow Broker. A lot of DLCs are a one and done type thing, but LotSB offers a whole lot more, that'll make you play, play, and play somemore.

What console do you think holds the best DLC?
Currentley the 360 just for the simple fact that the PS3 doesn't get most DLC at the same time the PC or 360 does. I know this as I'm also a PS3 gamer.

What video games is the biggest bang for you buck, based on it's DLC?
I agree, Mass Effect 2 for me. The DLCs that are being released for it, actually have relevence to the Mass Effect storyline, unlike a lot of other DLCs out there. Mass Effect's are actually connecting the bridge between ME2 and ME3. Kinda like AC: Brotherhood and AC3

The last question is, which DLC do you prefer more? DLC for multi-player(more maps and weapons for online battle) or DLC for single player( extended story, more weapons.)
Wow, defintley DLC for single player, and it's not even close. More time and effort is put into Single player DLC. Alot of multiplayer DLCs I've come acrossed, are just maps, skins, and weapons, that don't really add anything new to the gameplay experience. And most of the time, they're just hashed out there for the online community because the developers know people will buy them regardless. Multiplayer has been pretty boring this generation. I really haven't enjoyed it since the days of the Dreamcast.

Amari brought up the dreamcast, that makes me

I remember when me,my brother, and cousin would just sit and play Spawn. That was a great game, it should be remade for the 360 at a $40 price.(not gonna happen)

Speaking of the Dreamcast. They're releasing classic Dreamcast games on the PS3, like Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi. Spawn could make it's way over to PSN if the demand is high enough. I haven't brought any of the games, because I already own most of them for my Dreamcast. But I agree, Spawn was an awesome game. Shenmue is the best game the Dreamcast has to offer imo.

I've had mine out for months. I play Omikron occasionally.

Omikron was fun. Omikron 2 is coming out soon, and it's going to be a PS3 exclusive.
