Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

I'm hoping the red belt is torn off as battle damage, or some kind of removable piece. Without the red belt design, it looks like that one piece thong that Bruno wore.
I have never read comic books or really been into super hero's. I watched the Batman movies and some Superman movies growing up but that's about it.
My question is: Why is Spiderman (from what I have seen from these recent movies, and I have only seen bits and pieces) played by a skinny un-athletic/muscular actor? Isn't he supposed to be a Superhero?
Was Spiderman a skinny little dweeb in the comic books too?

What gives.......
LOL. yes. he was. Peter Parker was/is your stereotypical chess nerd with no athletic ability whatsoever.
that is, until he was bitten by a radio active spider. it gave him those abilities, but didn't necessarily change his physique that much.

Funny thing is, in the 90's cartoon series, Parker was huge before and after the bit.
Anyways back on topic, I don't like the new outfit, nor the new actor. I'm upset that there is a reboot, I know it's reasons, but Toby McGuire is Peter Parker, and did a good job playing Spidey.
I like it because the actor looks more like a Peter Parker then Toby ever could have. I honestly never liked Toby in that role and it's not like the new guy is terrible you just have to forget that he was one of the dudes from The Social Network.
I don't think he looks emo at all either. If you want to talk about emo Spidermans then watch Spiderman 3. Emo haircut, out of nowhere singing, black spidey costume, and hero's main villain is basically himself and his emotions. Bleh.
Like the new actor, but don't like constant reboots. I'd like to get these movies (most all superhero movies) into a "James Bond" mode, where you just tell a story without getting caught up in these frequent reboot cycles.
I think the audience would be fine with just "okay, this is a Spider-man" movie. And origin flashback somewhere would do just fine.
But this one has Martin Sheen rumored to be cast as Uncle Ben. So it's a reboot.

In the first movie, after he got bit, he did showcase his muscles as if they were bigger than before. Perhaps it did change his physique. However, this is stupid. Bad actor choice, bad costmue design. Guess I'll just have to wait for TDKR..
So, the best they could do for the part was a 130 pound kid? That does not exemplify masculinity.....at all.
Spider-Man is supposed to be a skinny kid. I love the suit minus the spider insignia. Plus looks like he has the web shooters. I was hoping they left that in this time.
