Anyway...

I am a HUGE Trekkie. In fact, I've been on a movie kick all day.

I have a question for fellow Trekkies.

While looking at Blu-Ray, I found they have released a set that contains the first six movies made but, it's a 7 movie set for $90.

I thought 7? Reading the movie titles, the last one listed is called "The Captain's Demon" or something like that. I've never heard of it!!

There was no Star Trek movie with that title. I have them all. Can anyone enlighten me as to what this is??

It is a typo. It should read "The Captian's Summit". The set is well worth the money. The 7th disk is a round table with all of the ST Captians.

That makes sense now because I thought I had been beamed to a planet through some space time continum or something and missed it.

Watching these movies today, it's time for a new movie with Picard, Ryker and the clan.

They killed Data in Nemesis, but his prototype brother B4 has his memories so they could use that route in the story.

Why? The next gen movies were getting so stale....Don't get me wrong I love the next gen cast but they should have made a DS9 or Voyager movie to mix things up. I think the new timeline star trek is the first time it's be interesting since first contact (my favorite of the next gen movies) Insurection was "ok" Nemisis was garbage.

I really enjoy the next gen cast and agree that they need a terrific story to continue with them.

I had said the same thing about Voyager. Make a movie where they have to go back with that original crew.

Oh I know we Trekkies have heard about it, but here it comes! A new movie is actually happening!! WOO HOO!

I found this and good read and heart pumper.

I hope the digging back into history angle really works like Stars Wars did with episodes I, II, III and from the looks of things, it may not disappoint those of us Trekkies jonesin' for something new.

I've known about this for awhile but it's just now becoming some sense of excitement.

I HATE movie theaters. The last movie I saw in the theater was the third Matrix which was yet another spoiled experience by the people around us. I may consider an exception with this movie.
