Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Anyone else terrible at it? Man I stink so bad!!! I had a full house (first decent hand out of a 20 hand sequence) and so I went all in thinking I could bluff everyone else, and they went all in and somehow I still managed to lose!!!! Maybe I should read Texas Hold Em' Poker for Dummies. I am that bad at this game.
Any help you can give me would be much advised. Thank you!!!!

PM me any specific questions you have and I will be happy to drop some knowledge on ya.
I have been playing this form of poker since before it became mainstream and extremely popular.
It used to be better, before everyone had millions of chips. It was actually competitive and good. Now it has pretty much gone to crap though.
I still play a lot, but I'm on my third account (yeah, I know you're technically not supposed to do that, but the others are full).
I used to sell chips back before they were so abundant to everyone, but now they're pretty much worthless.
Anyway, I have two accounts that are at 20 Mil and another one that's about to get there. I love taking chips out of the system. It makes me feel like I'm doing my part to improve the place. This is probably the last account I'll make there and anything I win from here on out I'll just let get deleted (which is what happens to it if you're over 20 Mil).
Playing for play money is harder than playing for real money. Trust me.
It's for exactly the reasons some have stated above.
In a real money game, two pair can win the pot. In a play money game, it's straights, flushes, houses or better.
Because no one folds.
In order to win, you have to wait, and wait, and wait some more, and then manage to still coerce people to call when you finally DO get the hand you need.
In this way, play money is far more challenging than real money. I think that's why I continue to play for play money when I've actually won quite a little stack of real cash in my "poker career."
If you want to win, I will tell you right now how you can always win at poker, regardless of what the math is, regardless of how bad you are, regardless of how unlucky you are.
Likewise, if you do not do this, I don't care how good you are, how lucky you are, or how well you can read anyone else in the world at a table - you will eventually lose.
There is a way to ensure that you NEVER lose at poker, and that you always win.
Ready?
"Learn to manage your bankroll."
Yes, that's it. I don't care how bad you are at poker, if you learn to manage a bankroll you will eventually be successful.
I also don't care how good you are at poker. If you do not learn to manage a bankroll, you will eventually fail.
I'm actually a club member over there and you will find a LOT of people. You will find people willing to help you and you will find people that are total jerks.
It's a great site to do so much.
Texas Hold 'Em can be a mind challenging game for sure and at least at pogo you don't lose money. If you run out of coins, they give you more.
