Dr Who

Anyone else watch it? I tried searching for a thread but dr and who are both too comon of words....I'm sure someone had a thread about it at some point since it's a great show but I don't feel digging through pages to find it.

For those that do watch it which Dr is your favorite?

For me it's Christopher Ecleston (though I'm getting more fond of David Tennants over time)

I just started watching a few months ago and I'm up to season 4 now (haven't seen the newest Dr yet since I haven't gotten that far)

I saw an episode once. I feel like i'd need to watch it from the beginning to become a Dr. Who nerd though. Craig Ferguson often references it on his show. He has a tardis on his desk.

You for sure have to watch it from the begining. I'd like to find the classic Dr Who stuff and watch through it because there are times in the new series where I even feel a bit lost having not seen the classic show.

One thing I can for sure say about the show though is it has a great theme song!

I think once I catch up to the current episode on dr who I'll probably move on to the torchwood spinoff. because Captain Jack seems like a solid character overall but I will say I really like dr who at this point, not sure how I've gone this long without watching it.

First season as in christopher eccleston and billie piper first season (which of course is followed up by the best doctor of all time David Tennet) or the first season with the current doctor (matt smith) and I agree Karen Gillan=teh hotness!

Matt Smith is growing on me but if your not starting from the David Tennet dr your missing out on some of the best that brittish sci-fi has to offer.

I think my favorite episode is "Blink" with the weeping angels. It's so well written and acted. The Angels come back for a two parter that's pretty good as well.

Yea I don't have cable or netflix but I always manage to find a way to watch them Tennant was for sure my favorite of all the dr's but matt smith is slowly growing on me. I just really didn't like him the first season but the more we get into this season the more I enjoy his take on the Dr.

Aberdien I think you'd actually be better starting with the older ones personally but that's just me there are so many great story lines in the Tennent era dr expecially towards the end of his run with Donna.

I'd strongly recommend starting with Series 1 and going forward.

It's not necessary, but will make some of the later episodes so much better.

Other than Broncos football, Dr Who is probably my favorite TV show right now. British Top Gear is up there as well.

I never went that far back. I started with the modern (Eccleston) series and have watched all the way through to current.

I still miss David Tennent though, one of the best versions of the Dr ever IMO

I mean how can you not love this guy


I realize that's not actually dr who but rather two the best parts of the david tennent era (donna noble and david tennent)
