The moment is almost upon us! I can't even wait. I get chills everytime I watch this teaser trailer "One single moment of one impossible day. The day of the Doctor!"

I think I'll go finish watching An Adventure in Time and Space and maybe the Name of the Doctor and HERE....WE.....GOOOOOOOO!!!

I just finished watching An Adventure in Time and Space. I won't lie I'm completely choked up right now. Fantastic show! The bit with Matt Smith at the end was brilliant!

I'm really sad to see Matt go. He really started to grow on me the last season or two. I won't lie I held it all in during his fantastic final speech, I held it in when Amy walked down the stairs to say goodbye to her raggedy man but I lost my crap and started bawling when the bowtie hit the ground.

A very fitting end to a fantastic Doctor!

So the first season out of the way, what does everyone think of Capaldi? I absolutely LOVE him as the Doctor. Not sure how this will all work because normally they change Doctors just as I begin to really like the current one. How does it work when I love the new Doctor from the start? Will they change about the time I start to dislike him (not that I think that's possible)

I absolutely loved this joke from the Christmas Special.

Doctor who is at it's finest when it's taking ordinary things (like shadows or statues) and using them to scare the living bejesus out of you!
