Going back to their older consoles? I've been playing my Saturn more than any of my current gen systems lately. I find them to be stale at this point, and I really don't plan on playing them until a few new releases come out such as KZ3, Crysis 2, MK9, etc. I've been playing my Genesis, Saturn, Atari, basically anything that's not named PS3, 360, or Wii. I've played a few platformers and RPGs on my Saturn, and I have to say, I really wish we had more games like that today.

Not me, I'm having a load of fun on xbox, I'm now where near calling it stale.

Hell I'm having fun on older 360 games, like MW2, Red Dead online, MoH, ME2,etc

Mass Effect came out with a new DLC that gives new threads to Miranda,Grunt and Tali. Grunt and Miranda look beyond beast, plus there is another DLC thats a actual game coming out next month.

Usually once a year I break out the SNES to play one or more of my alltime favorite games. Over Christmas I had to finish a game of Gemfire, even though I had gotten new 360 games, just because I had started it. If it's not that, it's FF6, or pokemon yellow in the super gameboy. Among some others I can't think of off hand.

I'll occasionally break out the PS1 also to play FF7/8, Grandia, or the original Tony Hawk.

Do you ever find it hard to get into some of your older games, strictly based on how poor the graphics are or how poorly made the game was?

Very rarely if at all... the only possible exception I can imagine is sports games, but I still get the urge to play the Ken Griffey Jr. games from time to time.

I can't bust out the old games or systems. I remember them being so awesome, and I know if I go back and play they wont live up to my memories.

I'm more of a retro gamer, so graphics don't change my experience with older games. Actually they enhance the mood for me. I was playing Rayman on my Saturn the other day, and I was just admiring how good it looks for it's time, and it's only a 2D platformer. Gives a nostalgic feeling for me.

I actually still enjoy playing some of the old soccer and hockey games, and I don't like either of those sports. Some of the football games haven't aged well though.

ok, forget I said anything about graphics, poor choice of words. How about games you used to love, and when you play them now you're like "Wow, this game is garbage how did I ever enjoy this?"

My examples are games like King's Field, which were the bomb when they came out and I played them forever, and now to me they're 12 awful polygons and the controls are like non-existent.

I've had a similar experience with some games out of my snes collection like zombies ate my neighbors, f-zero(i just end up throwing it and putting mario kart in) and a couple other I can't think of.

Oh yes, I can play Super Baseball Simulator 1000 sometimes, where you have robots for players, and super humans. lol. I hate baseball though.

Yeah there are a few games I liked as a kid, but now realise they're garbage. Batman Forever on SNES/Genesis, and terminator on NES, to name a few.

I sure miss my PS1 and PS2. My PS1 stopped working about 10 years ago, around the time I got my PS2. My PS2 stopped working 4 years ago. I have a PS3 now, but I will eventually buy me another PS1 and PS2.
