Will you buy Madden this year?

I am not going to buy Madden this year. In my opinion it seems that they never change anything essentially you are basically paying $60+ for a game with just a roster update. Some people might argue that with a football game that's all that it really needs. I would totally disagree.

The best Madden game series was Madden 2005 in my opinion. Why? Because the announcers were great! Not just some sound-bytes from Chris Collinsworth and a few cool sayings from Gus Johnson. *Granted to Madden Gus Jhonson was a definite upgrade over Tom Hammond.*

But the graphics are like the epitomy of average, I remember Josh Mcdaniels looked nothing like himself, (only Sean Payton did because of course they won the Super Bowl that year.)

Heck the Probowl helmets aren't even right. I mean what's up with that? They could put a halftime game show in for fun too if they wanted to. Ugh...I'm just a little ticked at the laziness in game making these days. Maybe I have too high expectations these days but can't sports games be better? Madden really does have a monopoly on the football arena in video games because it's VERY hard to make a decent football game outside of the NFL because of lack of funds.

See for me I would definitely buy it if a Broncos player was on it, but I'm not spending $60+ for basically a roster update and the ability to do onside kicks lol.

Heck, I mean even Halo Reach gives good updates now and then like the Defiant Map Pack coming out. I honestly don't remember to many updates for Madden other than the stats. Seems to me that EA is a tad lazy.

Boughten every year since 2000. Franchsie mode die hard. Franchise mode has barely improved over all these years. Rumors say a franchise mode overhaul is gonna be the big thin in M12, so if it is true I'll buy, if no major improvements to franchise, I dont buy. Lockout has no bearing on my decision

Yeah I'm buying it every year until their exclusive license expires.

For Madden 12, their focus is on franchise mode. (which I'm excited about)

Im the consumer sucker, so yea I will buy it. Madden, NBA 2K, and Calll of Duty are my games. And I buy every new addition that comes out.

I'm buyin it because the current madden always updates every week with ratings and stuff if its connected to the internet and when players are a lot better then they were expected to be they update their attributes accordingly. They also ajust rosters with actual injuries that's cool too but I think madden always improves details like how realistic they made cutting ability in 11 so u can't just run in circles because ur momentum will make it harder for u to stop 09 the deep pass was terrible theyed zoom out so far on deep passes they fixed that in 10 those are just a few examples.

I say for me... there's a 25% chance that I DO buy it, but it's definately not looking like a buy for me, all these Madden's past 2005 have been utter dissappointments.

I play on franchize and I went 2 seasons on all madden and fumbled once lol u gotta stop spinnin and jukein where ur about to get hit

In 16 games for me, CJ Spiller- 27 fumbles, and of course the defense recovered all but 2 because its all madden.

I'm tellin u just hold turbo n run when ur about to get hit u can't b fancy on all madden n try to break tackles with jukes n stiff arms

That's what I'm sayin when u have the current one hooked up to the internet they update attribute ratings and even team rankings weekly based on how the team plays
