I saw Rush in September. I remember talking to Jared about them a few years ago, so he woudl appreciate this.

Probably the best thing i've ever done in my life.

I saw the Rush 2112 tour and it was simply amazing. One of the many artists I've seen over the years. The 80's were really fun times.

ZZ Top used to have spectacular stage shows back then that just blew you away. Another band I saw 4 times.

I used to watch his painting class. There was just something irritating yet interesting about listening to him while he painted.

              Too Funny!

Stevie Nicks has to be one of my all time favorites and I've seen her 7 times solo and twice with Fleetwood Mac.

I too was at that Queen concert at the Mac. Billy Squier was the opening act.
I was at the first concert at McNichols... ZZ Top. Also the last concert at McNichols... ZZ Top.

I saw Pink Floyd do the Dark Side of the Moon Tour... floor seat was $ 5.50.

I have easily seen over 1,000 concerts... and I have most of the ticket stubs.

I already have tickets for 5 shows this summer.... and I will soon buy more.

Robert Plant is playing the filmore in April... I think I'll go see him... never have.
I LOVED Led Zeppelin... one of the main bands I never got to see.

The worst feeling in the world... is when there is a concert you want to see...
and the dang thing sells out in 9 minutes...

WOW! Impressive. And yeah.... when a show sells out that fast back then, we didn't have ebay and ticket exchange sites like these days.

I saw Robert Plant with the Black Crows at Red Rocks years and years ago.

I seen Ozzy back in '07, only time I've seen him so far... He ranks #1 all time favorite artist, at that concert I also seen Hatebreed and caught a shot glass or two from the lead singer... Hatebreed ranks #2 and I've seen them three times at least and met the lead singer once. That Ozzfest in '07 was the least amount of $ I've ever spent on tickets for a show, but my most expensive and best concert I've ever been to.

I tried to get Kenny Chesney tix on Friday...
the best country concert that is gonna be at Red Rocks this year as far as I can tell.

It sold out in 9 minutes.

They added a 2nd show... the tix go on sale april 1..

I will try again... but I expect they will sell out immedialty again.

                              ----------------

We used to wait in line all night... down at the downtown May D&F...
We'd start a list.... then you could only miss a roll call once ...
and then you were off the list.

By morning... the place was PACKED... people would crowd in and push past you...
                              then the guard said..

"I hear there is a list?" Damn Skippy there's a list , pal.

So we'd all get in on our fair spot...

thing is.. once we were in and lined up at the counter...
suddenly people came jumping out of the round clothing racks!
They had hidden and waited inside May D&F all night!

The guards got all wild eyed and forced them out the door!

OMG! We used to sit at the May D&F as well. There or over on CU's campus. Camping out for tickets back then was part of the fun! WOW! That brings back some memories.

I remember when Van Halen first came out and we camped all night in the fog. They played at the Balsa Field House on the CU campus. A friggen little basketball gym. Too much!

I can't believe Kenny is playing Red Rocks. How AWESOME! Since his last few tours have been those mega million seat stadiums, this small venue of 10K would be a thrill! And yes... The 2nd one will probably sell out even faster.

When Garth Brooks hit that last tour, he came to Vegas for a 4 night stand. It was supposed to be 2 that sold out Thomas & Mack in 15 minutes. The third went on sale and it sold out within the hour. Then they added a 4th. Also it was gone in a flash.

I was at work that morning the tickets went on sale at 9:00. I looked at the clock at about 8:58 and dialed the hotline. BAM! I got through immediately. I was in shock. I had people in line with the wrist bands.

I scored 3rd row tickets for us all. So I called my little troopers in line and told them to leave. They were like what? Explained the whole thing to them and they bragged to the people around them. Of course that made those folks a tad jealous.

That was my 2nd time for Garth. First was in Pueblo at the State Fair in 1993.
