    Cool.. Mr Broncos Maniac.

I already have Tim McGraw Tix... and Sugarland.
    both at Fiddlers.

It sucks there are a ton of GREAT performers coming this summer and
a BUNCH of them are at the CRAPPY Pepsi center.

I likes me the outdoor festivals... move around... dancing.. fun.

INSTEAD of the indoor, sit down in your uncomfortable seat and shut up PEPSI center.

I like the arena at Hudsons Garden....

    38 Special
    Little River Band
    the Guess Who
    Firefall
    Ambrosia
    Loverboy

all on tap there this summer..

the Conifer Music Festival is great...
Thre Dog Night headlined last year.

Like I said.. I might go see Robert Plant and the Mississippi Allstars..
I know it is indoors.. but at the Fillmore it is a huge open dance floor in front...
all the fuddy duddy's that need to sit down for Rock and Roll
have to settle for the edges at the Fillmore.

I have seen McGraw a few times myself. Love the guy. Sugarland? pfffft. Sorry. I don't care for her at all.

Fiddler's Green. Do they still have the noise limit there? I remember the neighbors used to complain, so they had to drop it down quite a bit. First few shows were pretty bad with the sound after that. Haven't been there in eons.

Last rock show I saw there was Bon Jovi and Skid Row I think. Skid Row blew Jon off the stage that night. Many moons ago.

The outdoor shows are always more fun. Like you said, these wine sipping morons that sit there and complain because you might be up dancing get on my nerves real quick. That actually happened at an Ozzy show in Vegas if you can believe that.

A little word of advise for you. See if there's a fan club you could join, they usually let members reserve tickets for shows. My daughter joined the justin bieber fan club and ended up 8th row at the phx show. My lady joined the mary J club and we ended up in box seats 12th row at the hollywood bowl.

Yep the concert bug caught my daughter as well, she's gone to a few shows herself although a couple were JB

Yes. Anyone want to guess who my favorite artist is? Saw them at the Pepsi Center. They were absolutely incredible.

Stevie Nicks has to be one of my all time favorites and I've seen her 7 times solo and twice with Fleetwood Mac.

I too was at that Queen concert at the Mac. Billy Squier was the opening act.
Yes! Billy Squier. I liked him. What happened to that guy? The amazing thing to me about that show was that Queen could sell 100,000+ tickets in one show in South America in '81, but couldn't sell out Big Mac in Denver in '82! ***?! There were empty seats at that concert! I couldn't believe it, but I was so happy to be there.

We used to wait in line all night... down at the downtown May D&F...
We'd start a list.... then you could only miss a roll call once ...
and then you were off the list.

By morning... the place was PACKED... people would crowd in and push past you...
                then the guard said..

"I hear there is a list?" Damn Skippy there's a list , pal.

So we'd all get in on our fair spot...

thing is.. once we were in and lined up at the counter...
suddenly people came jumping out of the round clothing racks!
They had hidden and waited inside May D&F all night!

The guards got all wild eyed and forced them out the door!
Oh yeah! I remember when waiting in line actually meant WAITING IN LINE! It wasn't like today where you have to get online and hit 'refresh' every second.

They were an amazing band in concert. Freddie Mercury was a born showman, Brian May is a premier guitarist, and the band as a whole was fantastic. They played Denver twice, and the '82 tour was the last time they play in the USA. I feel lucky to have seen them.

Yes my favorite band is Social Distortion I've seen them honestly 50-60 times.

I'm also lucky/old enough to have seen Nirvana live that was pretty damn cool

                        Yes, a couple times.

I saw Linkin Park live in Omaha, NE in 2004. I saw Incubus, Papa Roach, Hinder and Buck Cherry Live in 2007. I also just saw Kid Rock like 2 week ago.

Linkin Park is one of my all time favorite bands mostly for their old stuff. Incubus has always been one of my favorites as well as Papa Roach.

I remember those days. I waited outside University Hills Mall for 3 days for Michael Jackson's Victory tour at Mile High. My parents let me skip school and I was about 7th or 8th in line. My parents would bring me food and it was so crazy that people were offering hundreds of dollars for people up close to get them seats. The line stretched around the entire mall. The other long line I was in was for Pink Floyd in 94. But the worst in terms of weather was to see Metallica in 88. The tix went on sale in December and it was freezing. Luckily my friend had a van that we slept in for a couple of days. As I get older, I do appreciate online ticket sales though.

so they were here 7 years before I was born and 23 years before my first concert... I wonder how the progress on that time machine is going...

We had 1st row balcony seats that turned out to be an amazing view of that stage. Loved it. To be fair, there weren't that many empty seats up there.

Billy Squier turned to the blues side of things and the album he released didn't do well. In 2006 and 2008 he joined and toured with the Ringo Star All Star Band.

In 2009 he did a tour and that was the last we heard of him.

He was an opening act for Pat Benatar as well in the 80's which was also a fantastic show. Love Pat.

Queen performed and toured with Bad Company's front man Paul Rodgers who actually did a pretty good job but it just wasn't the same.
