Favorite old games

Something new. Instead of talking about all the new / current games lets take a step back and enjoy and remember what we used to love to play.

So heres my favorite old games:

Sonic the hedgehog for Sega Genesis - (i still play it on the xbox360arcade)

Pokemon Blue for Game Boy Color

Morrowind GOTY for Xbox

NHL 94 for Sega Genesis

Well thats enough to get it started. They don't have to be as old as mine but what do you guys miss playing?

I remember back in the day we used to crash over at a friends house and have all night Tecmo Bowl sessions. We would pick our team and run through whole seasons, if we had to face each other we would if not it was against the computer until the end! Pure Awesome!!

Oh man how could i forget!

1st game i picked up for my ps2 and loved it! I made it to the point where i could do any level with ease and knew every little secret and place to go in that game. Oh man the memories lol

(I'm assuming its Frontline)

And even rising sun was fun for me to! Great series!

I'm a fan of retro gaming so I can list tons of classic games. I'll just go with my top 5 for now.

1.Spyro-PS1
2.Revenge of Shinobi-Genesis
3.Castlevania: Rondo of Blood-Turbografx CD
4.Super Castlevania 4-SNES
5.Rayman-PS1


If I had a larger list, those would vary in order, but Spyro will always be my favorite classic game.

Oh man this thread is making me remember a bunch of old titles lol.

Socom was so much fun even though i was awful at it lol.

And for me i enjoyed Halo 1 more than Halo 2 just me though lol

Spyro and Rayman!!!! ahh amazing games. Oh and Pokemon, old gen games like red/blue/yelloe were the best.

Guardian Heroes is great, but sometimes the complete game costs as much as a Wii, PS3, or 360. Radiant Silvergun on the Saturn can cost around $300.

Carmageddon

Definitely Carmageddon.

For me it would be all the Bioware games made with the Infinity Engine.

4. Mario Kart - SNES (The N64 version has too much cheating)
5. Resident Evil 4 - Gamecube (I know it's on the borderline of being "old" but it's a classic and I still play it)
